Have been using it for more than two years now. Its clean and feature rich,while being lightweight and ad/tracker free. and it didnt even have internet permission until a recent update .So although I prefer FOSS alternatives, I still use this (with internet access blocked).
After finishing watching Jeremy Brett's Sherlock Holmes series, I have started watching Poirot. At first it didn't seem as striking to me as Sherlock Holmes(Holmes' and Poirot's character/style is very much different), but after a few episodes, I'm hooked up it, I must say. Highly recommend watching both of them.
They have started an iNaturalist project.[1] If you find any dead bird in the affected areas you can submit the pictures of it to the project database. It will help in identification and understanding the scale of impact.

One thing I hate about ddg is that the search results are quite inaccurate sometimes, especially what you are looking for is relatively uncommon/obscure. I hope to see a change in the future.
