is this legal? per the department of consumer affairs, "Any gift certificate sold after January 1, 1997, is redeemable in cash for its cash value, or subject to replacement with a new gift certificate at no cost to the purchaser or holder.3 Effective January 1, 2008, any gift certificate with a cash value of less than $10 is redeemable in cash, which includes currency or check, for its cash value."

Maybe I didn't read the article correctly, but if this guy is outputting to another screen, isn't it the video card that's not outputting the colors/resolution correctly, and that has nothing to do with whether the laptop screen is 6bit or 8bit?

I question whether or not this is causality or correlation. It may just be that overweight females have a higher concentrtion of that oral bacteria; not that the oral bacteria in higher concentrations is -causing- obesity.

Interesting business model. It may work for very small newspapers because they have a lock on the niche, but I don't see this model working for larger newspapers. I'm pretty media company agnostic when it comes to news (except for the economist).
