We recently got a landline. A few of my daughter’s friends got the “tin can phone” but it looked so poorly made and over-priced. It was easy enough to setup voip with one of those old school stretchy cabled phones.
It pretty cute watching her get excited when it rings and sweet that she gets to talk to her friends any time she likes… from the living room.
Is there an easy port of this for OpenCode?
Also 2024 is not the previous year. It provided references so must be right.

I'd love to see the paper (but don't want to pay $36 for it). Citations are often power-law distributed - I'd suspect one outliers is driving this effect.
The historic preludes to the chapters are awesome. The dynamic programming chapter starts with an intro to the study of meters in Sanskrit poetry.
Also, you are conflating social return vs. private return. Yes, me being able to go on facebook has very little social returns but it has some private returns. Private returns mean a lot to people - just look at all the people working on wall st.
I worked for Bridge previously and have seen their schools and visited numerous government schools in the vicinity. There are a lot of valid criticisms against Bridge but (1) kids do not learn relative to government school (2) kids are not safe, are not amongst them.
Also, I don't understand why "for profit" is considered bad. You are not taking away the free public option but rather increasing their choice set by providing a private option. Parents can choose and that is generally considered to be welfare enhancing.
I'd love for CNN to do some real investigative journalism for a change and actually visit a few schools.
