If you're taking requests, a filter by country would serve great. While I loved the concept and the way it's executed, I wish it becomes contextual for me.

Also, back button interaction closes the app. If you can fix that too.

I just tried it but didn't like the experience. My reading speed is variable, I read slow when I want to internalize the idea v/s I skim through when I am probably reading a novel. At so many points I wanted to pause and re-read the para or think about what he said but listening to the audio didn't really allow for that. PG essays are usually of such kind.

I suspect I won't even enjoy audiobooks too for the same reason. I won't be able to accelerate or slow down at my will.

But I congratulate you for building it and I'm sure it'd be useful for others.

Congratulations on building and launching SideNote. You should also checkout https://www.tuberslab.com/ which is a browser extension that does exactly what SideNote do.

The added benefit of using TubersLab is I don't have to take the YouTube video to new web app, I just get the ability right there.

I tried the app on android but it seems to be loading very slow. My mobile network speed is 20Mbps so not the issue with bandwidth.

I've been practising touch-typing for about 2 months now and have increased my speed from 15WPM to 35WPM, maintaining accuracy above 90%.

I learnt from https://www.ratatype.com/ but the modules are now done. This will become my practice board now. Parallelly I'll be reading/writing a few classics.

Interesting Project! There seems to be a bit of learning curve required to get handy with the tool. A better/simpler onboarding where I learn about the key concepts should be great. I will not master the product on Day-1 but I'll get some headstart. Related to the first point, I couldn't access the user guide from the main dashboard. I actually found them in the comments here and I think you should link it somewhere on the dashboard. Anyone interested will be able to go through it and learn more about the ways of doing things.

The product looks promising to me and I'll use it a bit more and would share any feedback I have.

I appreciate original version of HN more. As compared to other content platforms, I come to HN to actually read and just not to scroll. From that pov, I like text better than other elements visible to me. More than that, the current design took too much space, showing 1 post per scroll.

One suggestion for your website is to accommodate heading on left half of the screen (desktop view) coz usually most of the people have a mental model of trying to find heading first and reading from L2R.

A quick feedback, can you explicitly show shortcuts while selecting cards. It will reduce a lot of cognitive load on the brain. Also give quick keyboard shortcuts to be able to input/update the variables and evaluate.
