So this does suck for developers in the respect and you could imagine apple releasing a special docker image that just ran safari if they wanted to really make it easy to develop for thier platform.

However, I imagine someone will fill a server rack with cheap old macs and offer and safari mcp as a service…

University is a wonderful petri dish for growing into who you want to be. You have access to expertise and resources abs a certain kind of institutional credibility. Few students actually use these fully and the ones who do were told to. You need some idea who you want to be and why, and this is developed in you by other people. Children don't just know stuff.

I think these are positive changes if and only if we accompany them with systematic study skills and self management courses and bridge this gap.

I think there is something like a pyramid scheme of people who sell classes, and people who sell classes about how to sell classes. The top level slowly pull the whole chain to the next fad and then the next. I think it's pertinent. Ppst 2008 was essentially disinflation economy whereas inflation has been high running into this and people are struggling a bit. To launch something you gotta be hungry but not too hungry. Maybe people are either retiring on thier 401ks or uber driving 24 hours a day to make rent. I think I'm reading that the product sets a problem and talks the pupil through it. The pupil works on paper and the product recognises and grades thier written answer. It then uses an expert system to figure out the best concept to cover next, going back to explore the missing knowledge making the current problem impossible or advancing to the next step?

As an augmentation of teachers or a form of homework, this sounds really useful, but I'm not a teacher just a parent so who knows.

You know, China hit a lot of these problems before we did and the ir platforms are "nicer" because they are more regulated.

Rather than ban tiktok and suffer the same problems with meta's Reels, what if we borrowed some of thier regulation?

This is a technical report about a guy who wrote a slightly advanced crawler bot that discovers the behaviour of a modern Web application and can maybe be used to generate automated tests.
