I use z[0] in place of autojump. That way I don't need to install Python solely for autojump. This is especially true, when sshing to servers.

I use the built-in QR-code scanner available in Opera Mini beta. Also, its the only browser I know that has a built-in RSS Feed reader. I use an old APK, as the newer version of Opera Mini removed the RSS functionality.

fd (https://github.com/sharkdp/fd) is the best command line search utility IMO. Its crazy fast and always found what I was looking for. If you want a GUI alternative, check out Drill (https://github.com/yatima1460/Drill). Although the development seems stalled, it works well for normal usecases.

If you're looking for an e-book reader in Linux, Foliate (https://github.com/johnfactotum/foliate/) is the best I've seen. I used to be a fan of Calibre E-book reader and had my own custom CSS for theming, but the redesigned e-book reader (I think it was Calibre 4.0) completely broke my setup. I don't know how it is these days, but it was extremely buggy and lagging when I tried some months ago. Even Bookworm (https://github.com/babluboy/bookworm) is a far better alternative than Calibre E-book reader.

I basically use Calibre ebook viewer for its configurability and customization. If you want a good ebook reader, give Foliate (https://github.com/johnfactotum/foliate) a try. That and Bookworm (https://github.com/babluboy/bookworm) are the best standalone ebook readers I've seen in Linux.

I dislike Calibre main GUI as well. It looks a bit dated and all, but really convenient for downloading books from Userfiction forums like Spacebattles via the Fanficfare plugin. Also good for simple editing of ebook metadata. Built-in ebook-viewer is highly configurable with custom keybindings and themable with custom CSS.This is my setup

I don't think its all that bad. My only gripe with Goodreads is the lack of a proper tagging system, something like NovelUpdates `Release Filtering` which uses tags and genres in addition to categories. My point is Goodreads is certainly good for getting a feel of the book with its blurb, but not so good for discovering new books via filtering.

Try Kiwi Browser for Android. Its a Chromium-based browser with built-in ad-block. If you want, you can even install uBlock Origin or any other extensions as it natively supports extensions.

It'd be really great if you could use something like Nextcloud for sync, instead of proprietary services.

My only issue with Notable is the absence of an Android app and sync across devices. I'd love to use it as my daily driver, if not for these features. Really love your UI. I'm currently using Joplin <https://github.com/laurent22/joplin/>
