These works well for some svg that are simple and already in training data but doesn't work for harder svgs, even simple one if they are out of distribution of training data.
In simon's example whole purpose is to make it draw something that it has not seen before but can easily infer from geometry, spatial arrangement. I think it makes a fun problem.

This is good book to start learning. Don't worry too much about using HAL. You can dig deeper by implementing HAL functions yourself. The thing is if you are making a product, using a HAL is generally a good solution. Also keep datasheet of specific microcontroller nearby.
Man, why is it so hard to believe that inovations can happen outside of USA. I am not saying china is not after some code/algorithms. But still, maybe people there are also working hard on these problems.
