United States Digital Service | Washington, D.C. | ONSITE | $108,887-$160,300

We're looking for the most tenacious designers, UX experts, software engineers, product managers, and others who are committed to untangling, rewiring and redesigning critical government services.

You'll join a team of the most talented technologists from across the private sector and government. Most people sign on for one year, but there are opportunities for shorter or longer engagements–tours of duty.

It's totally rad, you guys.

My interview process involved several phone interviews conducted by digital service experts stationed at various agencies and the White House.

This is excellent news. Questions though...does Riak CS need its own dedicated Riak cluster or can you use "its" Riak nodes directly in the usual Riak fashion? If so, is it possible to access the CS-created chunks directly? (Not saying that is a good idea...just trying to understand how Riak and Riak CS fit together.)

I see that the article is tagged "open source." Is CloudFront going to open source Railgun? Publish any papers?

This isn't an announcement about companies supporting Railgun...it's about companies supporting CloudFlare by installing the Railgun Listener.

I'd like to see how Apache 2.4 benchmarks against previous versions of Apache.

I received mine on the 8th and I love it. While it is true that the file manager is missing a lot of functionality I think the real problem that Chrome OS brings to the fore is the severe lack of good Chrome apps.

Also, I had no problem getting past the fourth step in the trackpad training tab, unlike the OP who was probably experiencing a PEBKAC exception.
