I tried Square Cash. Sent a payment to a friend and immediately received a notice that due to fraud detection my account had been permanently closed. Completely turned me off from Square and I don't ever intend on using one of their services.

Stores want bitcoin as a secondary method of payment, not a first...

It seems to me that the crowdfunding trend puts allot more power in the hands of entrepreneurs who now have access to outside funds and a product runway. The true test will be when (if) the Jobs Act ever goes into effect. That should have far greater ramifications than reward based crowdfunding.

I think this is preaching to the wrong audience. Anyone getting 8 hours of sleep a night while working on a startup is sleeping too much.

The fact that the site is so blatantly infringing on a trademark speaks volumes about the service in general.
