I have used marijuana for most of my life and I've stopped for periods of time, sometimes up to a year of no use, and I can vouch for the effects of addiction. For me the cold is colder, I sweat more (especially when I sleep) and I tend to be more grouchy. All of this for at least 2 weeks before everything is "normal" again. Even with these withdrawal symptoms I would still prefer marijuana to any opiates.
ha well, as a long-time user i assure you there is addiction, both physical and psychological. if i stop for any length of time i dont sleep as well and i sweat alot more.
as a user, marijuana is definitely good. ive never smoked cigarettes, so I can't say how "good" they are. i just know they don't get me high.

the one i was most familiar with was reflector. you could change the languages it was decompiled to from c# to visual basic.
my mom puts 4-leaf clovers she finds in her yard in books. i am sure that one day those books will end up in someone else's hands.

I don't listen to Lil' Wayne but I do watch his interviews (it's hard to NOT watch them). He seems genuine and truly cares about his city, his fans and the music he makes.
I also was a teenager throughout most of the 90s and I admit to having a huge fascination with this work. I believe the very first thing I made was homemade napalm and burned down a tree, which led to firefighters being called, my mom being questioned while she was cooking which then led to part of my house burning down. I still have this fascination even today, in a curious-how-does-it-work sort of way.
I've spent a few years searching these out for fun in second-hand shops and used book stores, avoiding online simply for the thrill of trying to find them on the street. This is fantastic that they are available for free download now!
He was not a true hermit. He received supplies from outside yearly and brought his own tools with him - minus handles,e tc. However, Alone in the Wilderness is a fascinating watch and I recommend it for anyone who wants to see what living and working in the wild, alone, making your own tools.
Just need a dirt floor at the very least.
I started doing yoga in '94, when I was 14. My mom gave me two books on my birthday: Richard Hittleman's 30-day Yoga Plan and Light on Yoga. They changed my life back then and I continue to practice Iyengar's version of yoga today.
- I work for a mental health nonprofit, largest one in the country at the moment.
- I got into IT after being a warehouse worker and "being good with computers" there. I did air guitar to land my first IT job.
- My current job is awesome because as a nonprofit everyone is very huggy-feely, lots of psychiatrists leading the way and whatnot. It is also awesome because I am given free reign to come up with solutions, design new systems and generally tinker with a home-built lab using old equipment I was loaned by this non-profit.
- We get several different models of charity licensing from various vendors in addition to having some of the best negotiators around. A non-profit running all EMC storage, backup and replication? Pretty awesome.
I love the work in general and would do it for peanuts, almost.

what if you truly don't care to know your neighbors? personally, i could care less and would most rather live miles away from everyone.
Thanks for the point of view. I personally love the Synology at home and have a spare disk for cases where I may have a failure. I would say, barring something catastrophic, that I am set for another 3-5 years, which is fine. I would most likely buy a new model Synology 3 years from now and continue expansion. They also offer another disk shelf you can addon.
Just curious why more people don't learn about and invest in home NAS's? Something like Synology would be pretty good at storing 8000 important photos. It is still a single point of failure, but its one I control.
This reads more like they want to block the "Dirty Internet" and for casual users that will be the case.

I agree. This all seems so shady. I believe a municipality should have a choice, based on what the people vote for. The fact that this lady's funds are coming from telecom is a red herring to me.

I still miss the old days of Ascii art, demos were around back then, probably what killed the ascii art scene.
