He (original poster) dropped the class before attending any of the lectures.
Why bother signing up for the class in the beginning? A quick Google search would result in good textbook recommendations.
Nice! I'd eliminate the reflection, I was rather confused when I saw a reversed screen. At least add a transparency gradient to it (let me know if you need help). Also, are you selling it while giving away the source code for free, or just haven't updated the site yet?
Apologies if I wasn't clear, I was referring to the above poster's comment about this technology being patented.
The ability to focus afterwards is at the tradeoff of image size and quality, assuming they use a microlens array similar to the study located here: http://graphics.stanford.edu/papers/lfcamera/. However, this is cleverly marketed towards the social media crowd, which has little use for high resolution photos.
This technology has been around in research articles for at least 15 years. http://scholar.google.com/scholar?hl=en&q=light+field+ph...

Edit: Nvm, back up.

Anyone know the pros and cons of using Readability over Instapaper?
There's probably great uses for this, such as learning and adding on to other CoffeeScript scripts. I think it's hilarious that Javascript converts to Coffeescript, which then converts to Javascript.
Its supposed to stop at philosophy..
I hope he had permission for all those photos.
I'm not familiar with the industry, but is 50/50 split considered good?
Off topic, but that was the one with Stephen Colbert singing Friday, correct?
The linked example, http://maxvoltar.com, works fine for me for the spacebar and pagedown. I'm using Chrome beta build.
> The recommendation I've seen from some gateways is to add multiples of 3 years until the date is in the future.
Did you read the rest of the post?
success != academics.
Was it?
Scribd links automatically generated for PDFs. I wonder if they check for mimetype, or they just assume it from the extension..
I don't have a source for this, but I remember reading about how the "autistic" brain dedicates more of its capacity for more intellectual, rather than using it for social purposes.
Actually, you can run it through an article scraper, then hash it.
Yeah, just reminiscing about the past. ;)
That's either a really sensitive watch or the ring produces a large magnetic field.
Should we be drawing more or less attention to newcomers? The green is more obvious than the default gray.
AskJeeves and Dogpile are still going strong. I could have sworn Dogpile didn't look so spammy before..
:first-of-type is valid CSS3, though.
