After years of building, scaling, and leading engineering efforts across backend systems, I’m exploring new opportunities where architecture, distributed systems, and technical leadership meet.

My focus areas include:

System Architecture & Design: Crafting resilient, observable, and maintainable systems that scale.

Distributed Systems: Designing and evolving services that thrive under load and handle failure gracefully.

Technical Leadership: Driving clarity in complex systems, mentoring engineers, and shaping high-impact engineering culture.

Scalability & Performance: Deeply understanding system bottlenecks and making software fast, reliable, and cost-efficient.

I’ve led engineering efforts spanning from core platform design to large-scale service deployments, with an emphasis on clarity, reliability, and developer experience.

I’m looking for roles such as:

Principal / Staff Engineer

Architect – Platform or Distributed Systems

Engineering Lead

I am currently doing it, near to the forest & foothills of a small mountain south of India. Also, I travel to SE Asian countries to places which are not so urban. While there are many advantages, I see myself travelling to Bangalore quite often to feel the developer vibes and talk to like-minded people to beat loneliness.

After spending enough time in Bangalore and then in Cebu (Philippines), With the convenience of remote work, it influenced my priorities to clean air and water than meetups and people. Work-life harmony is much better, while the work-life balance is out of question currently with the workload. I find myself not spending money, there is some energy left in the evening to read, I go walking near the mountains and meditate every morning. Life has turned out to be better overall.

Products like these will change the future of how learning and new skills will come out of Cambodia.

I just returned from Cambodia last week. I have been around the provinces with my Cambodian friend. What I came to know is many young people who are also smartphone users are not able to read or write Khmer, let alone English. The smartphone usage is mainly around using facebook, mostly to post pictures and watch videos. Though the internet infrastructure is good in Cambodia, it's underutilized.

What I wish to see is how localization and learning software powered by TTS/AI along with inexpensive hardware would inspire them to learn and acquire global outlook.

This is interesting to me. I am thinking loud here. The first thing for me would be to understand from a top level the different departments/ministries have a set of function and they are required to communicate between them to accomplish certain task. So before I could make anything programmatically I could at some level try to model it mathematically. I believe these are processes which ought to communicate, could we think of these as modeled by pi-calculus (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/%CE%A0-calculus)

I am not sure I am even close enough to what your are asking, but thats my two cents.

I am not much into fiction, my gift depends on the kind of person I gift to, few books I most of the time prefer gifting,

1. The Tibetan Book of Living and Dying by Sogyal Rinpoche, for those spiritual minds. I am a huge fan of this book, I am traveling this week to Dharamshala to learn about Buddhism after reading this book.

2.Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill, for those aspiring young minds.

3. Into Thin Air by Jon Krakauer, for my adventure loving friends. I had an intense desire to see Mt.Everest after reading this book, I traveled to Everest base camp.

4. Bhagavad-Gītā As It Is by A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, for everyone, I don't remember how many I have gifted.

5. Imitation of Christ, I have gifted it, but haven't read it myself. It's in my list.

6. Siddhartha by Hermann Hesse

I am in a similar phase, just two more days left in my current job. After that I shall start working on my own projects and freelance and build MVPs for startups to keep me afloat, which I also enjoy for the fulfilling responsibility. But I am only experimenting it for next few months and if it doesn't work out I shall fall-back. Good luck for your next steps.
