Problem is that a lot of people don't want to spend some minimum effort getting some fundamental understanding about the technology they are using. They just want to rush it to build something. It's been like that forever.

Been building a fairly medium to large sized web app in HTMX these last few months and if done correctly, it can be done fairly cleanly and it's best combined with templates of some kind (e.g. the templating in Golang or in Django).

I have also noticed teams don't seem to "get" htmx.

It is an unbelievably good tool though, and LLM's understand it very well (given some encouragement).

They should start charging for it. Like not a lot, maybe just a coffee a month. That should keep the bots away.

This is what I've always felt too, but if you talk to any lighting "expert", they'll say "no that's simply not the case with LED lighting since the year... 2009 or whatever ...". Highly suspect.

No AI tools here – plenty of other apps do that. We focus on deterministic and mathematical mutations rather than stochastically generated slop.

An academic exercise for sure. The Postgres team won't use this and take it forward, hence it will go stale and rot within months.

My homelab "NAS" is unfortunately just a few USB based external disk enclosures, externally powered. Is there no way of making these reliable ? Every so often (maybe once a month) I get timeout errors or some kind of issues with at least one of the disks.
