Check the screen shot, it's not just an ad, they basically added a sponsored item to the baby registry without telling you. This almost guarantees the purchase of this item because it fools your friends to think you need it.

If this is not shady, I don't know what is.

They can easily create a section called "You friend might also like:" and show sponsored items there.

I'm sorry. can you provide a link, a source, that says "lopping off someone's head" is a common practice in Turkey? Why would you lie about something like this? What is your purpose?

This is such an upsetting comment :( besides politics, Turkey is an awesome place to visit, with amazing history and people.

I hope you get to visit Turkey sometime in your life, I'm sure it will surprise you in a positive way.

People comparing EditorConfig to eslint or prettier does not really understand it's purpose.

yes they have intersecting features, but EditorConfig's main feature is that it lets you set file type specific whitespace rules automatically, across almost all editors.

- Most editors will have a global whitespace rule and you have to use that same rule for every file.

- Some editors can be configured to have different rules per file type but then it can't be done per project. So every project has to use the same rules.

- Some editors will let you configure all of these per project, but you have to save this project-settings file somewhere. Editor specific code is no good in the repo, so you need to maintain/backup it yourself.

EditorConfig solves all of these issues for me.

I got the new macbook pro 15' first two days batter life was really bad, 2 hours most. but on the 3rd day it went back to normal. now I get around 10 hours. I think it had something to do with Firevault. Encryption was running in the background and draining the battery now that it's done it's back to normal.

I think there is no need to freak out over this

This kind of blog posts are super interesting and depressing at the same time :) makes me question my programing skills. Almost all of the things mentioned here are over my head.

Thanks for sharing though, very interesting

Well, this is a bit concerning. How are the investors plan to get that money back? Something tells me we will not like the solution.
