they would prefer that you never words type manually again
my scorn is not for this person's work but for the abomination of a programming language that made it possible
glad to see that in the yaer of our lord 2026 c++ is still slaying, wasting gigawatts of 18yo supple brain energy on useless shit like this
People writing incomprehensible slop like this is the reason why some other people felt they had to invent AI coding agents
Absolutely ripping your hair out reading Claude referring to everything as “honest takes” and "load-bearing seams"?
A normal and psychologically healthy personal cannot have this strong an emotional reaction to such trivial matters. The author thinks the problem is the in computer!
looks like the kind of thing that will compile for 60 seconds only to spew 10k lines of error message to your terminal because you got 1 character wrong

Biologists have a superiority complex about the “complexity” and “singular difficulty” of their field born out of a need for justification for the vast deficiencies of their field’s progress compared to others. Its an elaborate coping mechanism where the people in other fields which make envyable progress (eg software, cs etc)- sighted enough to have recognized and avoided the decrepitude of biological sciences- are in fact the ignorant ones who “struggle” , “incapable of grasping” the way that biologists think. Its an inversion designed to obscure the harsh truth that these outsiders in fact see quite clearly the way that biologists think and it is the reason they have so diligently avoided their field.
Its not even applied math
Turns out all this time you were writing for AI to read!
Its not a math paper
Perfection is achieved, not when there is nothing more to add, but when there is nothing left to take away
technology should be silent
bioinformaticians have been making these useless bioinformatic-toolkit-in-my-favorite-programming-language repos for years
academic clickbait
did they ever?
where did you get a 5090 I will buy it from you
like a workstation under your desk? is the latency bad when you remote access it not in the office?
same! how do you deal with cloudtop latency though? sometimes my neovim is very slow and laggy because of the remote connection / network file system
