You got it wrong. Use appliances instead of eggs. If getting an oven gets more expensive I rather keep going to Dennys.

It’s classic capex vs opex. I’d keep paying my openai subscription instead of dropping $3k to run a subpar model. If the thing costs $1k I would consider it.

That's a good thing, but making it clearer what to expect will make it easier for potential users to decide whether to give it a try.

There are not that many options for the potential users.

they all have the same mother, grew up in the same house, etc.

I’m pretty sure the first one didn’t have siblings, and the second only had one. Also their mother is not the same person after raising the first kid, or raising two.

Parenting never have reproducible conditions.

When I see suggestions to "own" your email domain, how do you manage the chicken-egg problem of needing an email address in the first place to register the domain you want to lease?

Are there registrars that let you walk in with a physical ID to proof you are you in case your email gets compromised and they get access to the registrar? Any experience with that?

GitLab is a completely different platform.

This comes to solve the problem of the terrible UX in the most widespread git service. I won't dare to try to convince my whole team, or company, to migrate to GitLab, but this can be easily adopted.

The first paragraph that talks about the OS itself is depressing:

macOS Sequoia completes the new Mac Studio experience with a host of exciting features, including iPhone Mirroring, which allows users to wirelessly interact with their iPhone, its apps, and notifications directly from their Mac.

So that's their highlight for a pro workstation user.

This CDD doesn’t lead to problems?

I see a disconnection with reality here… Somehow bugs are caused by dumb people who thinks their code is great but it’s not. So we let smart people come up with practices that dumb people will follow and mistakes will be avoided.

How these certified architects folks will prevent defects is not clear to me.

I grew up watching Looney Tunes interpretation of physics and turned out just fine.

I value my privacy and use Firefox. Honestly, I have trust issues with volatile “security focused” forks. I feel the risk of them been tampered are greater than the marginal gains.
