Perhaps 2nd level is by using cloud specific features - such as AWS S3 Object locks (even owner can't delete the object till the retention period).

Congrats to you as well! We have lots of courses in common. My most fav. were: HPC, AI4R, Simulation, AI for Ethics and ML4T

Short answer = Yes. Learned a lot and some more. (but of course depends on what courses you end up taking).

In fact, its quite common to see alumni taking courses after they have graduated (case in point: many folks from my batch enrolled in the newly started DL class, just for the sake of learning).

I think UT Austin has a program as well. Might want to check with the alumni there.

Also, I would say - if you don't hurry through the program and take 1 course at a time, it's worth giving it a shot. You must start slow, gradually you would have an intuition of how to pace your life along with the studies.

quite an excellent post. But very early enough I developed deep contempt for many of our teachers and chose to educate myself on my own. that would be true for most of us - self taught engineers we are. Also unlike in the US where there are many universities of top repute, in India we have either the IITs or NITs [wrt engineering] - and actual quality of education their is also isnt great [ well i can say about NITs].

Would be inspirational to read about 'failures' of HN members here who ve' been there n done that...

This is from IIT JEE 1999. If i remember this was one of the most difficult Math paper in those years.check out question 11 at the end , nice one. Trivia: Check out JEE 1998 paper on physics & try out subjective questions at the end.Boy was that paper hard.

Unlike in US , where you have many universities of repute & cutting edge research - in India we have only the IITs or at the next level perhaps the NITs(with quite a level of difference).And with millions of kids longing for that coveted seat in the iit , we have cut throat competition.Coaching for entrance exams has been a thriving industry in India.
