Have you heard of the Sucker Effect? Your gains come solely from the those who made the wrong bet. There is no inherent value generation in the prediction markets unlike the stock markets. Yes, there is money to be made, but at a net loss to the society, so many would not consider these bets "opportunities" but rather "gambling".

Logseq + Syncthing has been working quite well. Logseq is well maintained, has a fully functional Android app, and a thriving plug-in ecosystem. I have been using the combination for a year and it's an excellent long term solution.
Or perhaps higher demand can be a signal to increase supply instead of price gouging. Why incentivize anyone to limit supply?

What is a legitimate use case for this? I can think of a hundred applications for deceiving others but struggle to come up with a scenario where one would want their voice cloned or reproduced.

Good to know that Apple does not collect and store this data. The original issue, however, is that the banks continue to share this data with wallet providers. I have seen notifications on my phone wallet when using the physical card, which I found suspicious.
Do you have a citation for this? I see no evidence of this in the user-facing parts of the Google Wallet app, nor do I see something like that in the terms.
