It is a feature. As a frequent user, I would rather have it on plain HTTP as well. Aside from the performance benefit, it also helps if people monitoring my internet traffic (my ISP, NSA, Putin, Zuck etc.) reads Paul Graham and they may get enlightened. May not seem much but it is actually one of the few steps humanity is taking towards world peace.

The "research" is politically motivated, it is thus garbage. Especially considering that it would be dangerous to publish the result if it were to show the other way, not that they would want to publish it.

Besides, not having even a drop of water for longer than 12 hours during summer is dangerous, not only to fasting people themselves but to the society as a whole since they drive cars and they have higher rate of fainting during that. But doing those for the name of religion is somehow acceptable in our society..

Yeah, blame U.S. corporations complying with their law, while your country has not had a single step for resolution of the sanctions.

Also if an Iranian developer is unprepared against losing their access to Gitlab, then sadly they are incompetent developers.
