ducatis use the engine block has the frame.
he also sold all is tesla stock, so I assume there is some incentive too feel better in case tesla fails.
hmm, remember when Mercedes tried to fake how well their emergency assistance works and had their mics still on?
That’s ridiculous. Can you name examples where he is signaling Nazism (except the Salut). Have you watched any long form podcasts of him?
I can’t speak for OP, but my feeling is that many people think it went too far and hiring is still sexist, racist just in the other direction.
I believe that in an ideal world, race and sexual orientation should not be seen as something negative and just be an attribute, an attribute completely irrelevant for hiring.
I believe your are projecting your own morals.
was it cash gifts?
I am 6’4 and I am baffled by that argument. Not being “discriminatory” against pilot height is not the most important design choice in an airplane. What about a 7 feet tall person? Would it also be “discriminatory” if they can’t be a pilot?
They talk about their reasoning and this specific issue in the announcement.
I had tinnitus when I was about 20 for multiple months after dancing in front of the loudspeakers of a club.
They gave me a TEBOFORTAN, as well as cortisone infusions over several weeks.
It was bad enough that I could not concentrate on learning for university. I heard before that psychology plays a big role, so I was trying my best to just ignore it and do something else than studying.
It completely went away. I can hear a very small ringing if I concentrate on it and its completely silent, but I had this for as long as I can remember (definitely when I was 4 years old) and I wouldn't call it tinnitus.
we are kotlin and .net shop with 90% macs. people use rider.
What if the CP has full disk encryption enabled, would that be in compliance with ‘encryption at rest‘?
cool, I wonder how this compares to https://podman-desktop.io though.
Isn’t this old (few days) debunked (https://twitter.com/wk057/status/1676634778622197763?s=46&t=...) news?
We are in the EU and are looking for Java/Kotlin Devs in case you want to send over your CV (openresearch.com).
Hey, while I won’t be there for Xmas I will be there for New Year’s Eve. Hit me up on schmidp@schmidp.com if you want to hang out.
I agree with every single word written in this comment :)
not a lot of detail in your post.
have you worked through: https://docs.zerotier.com/zerotier/troubleshooting/ ?
Always great to hear if a project adopts rust. ZeroTier, in my experience, has been one of those applications that just work.
Keep up the great work!
we are developing a connected vehicle platform in .net on azure and one dev is using Rider on Ubuntu and is quite happy.
Tesla brake grinding to a certain extend is actually normal or my car is also has a defect. Since I use my brake so rarely. It happens all the time that they rust and I need to brake a bit to have the grinding disappear.
I could imagine the rap thought that was what the owner was hearing.
Well, a few of my friends worked at Mercedes plants during summer time. Also on stations doing brakes. From the stories they tell, at least in Germany, I can absolutely imagine cars being delivered like that as well.
I had a small accident with a Range Rover some years ago that made the side airbag in the driver seat go off. I had it repaired at an official Land Rover dealer. When I got it back I only noticed at home that the seat leather is not well in place so I removed it to adjust it. To my surprise i find the new Airbag held ok pace with with multiple rounds of strong duct tape.
So far I trust Tesla more than the legacy automakers.
That kind of troll talk is very rare here and unnecessary. Don’t know what else to say tbh.
Isn’t that exactly what we are doing? (-slightly, as we would need to define the threshold)
While googles business apps lack in features, office365 seems to be extremely buggy, documents look different online and offline (had the case last week), their authentication is pure horror (multiple accounts with different passwords for the same email address), teams is only logged in to one account at the time, one drive (or how it is called) is always using "significant energy". We actually wanted to switch and bought a few licenses, but after trying it for 2 weeks with a small group of employees we discarded the idea. I was surprised and very much disappointed.
And that’s why I believe self driving cars will kill public transport as well as short leg flying. I already prefer the Tesla autopilot on longer highway drives to trains. As soon as I can really take my eyes off at the motorway I have not much reason to fly anymore (before Covid I had 30-50 flights in one year), except long distance.
It's not about running code, it's about opening a TXT file with the operating system default handler for TXT files.
So you what you are saying is basically 'do not open any files or websites you don't trust' - which is usually not what people expect as that would basically mean 'don't use your computer'
kids are also a pretty good indication. if for some reason my model 3 is not parked where it's usually parked, the kids of the neighbourhood come over and ask where the Tesla is. i'm not joking. nobody ever cared where my previous bmw mini, vw golf or land rover parked.
foo@bar.io is also quite commonly used for testing.
It's always interesting to get those test accounts for new services and try them out early.
Whats not so fun is "testing" all the draft newsletters people send to foo@bar.io.
The satellites deorbit automatically. You are misinformed.
