Most of the EU, the USA and Russia do not officially state Taiwan is a sovereign nation to not antagonize China.
Yet if China wants to host the next world war, a lot of nations think they are well prepared for the occasion.
None of us can do anything about it.
Bullies respond to your confidence and your self esteem. They got to you so far, that you become unsure of your self worth. During the day there are plenty of social interactions, that can form a win for your self esteem. Think of it as giving someone else who is down a little boost. Just go outside and for a passing moment be kind, friendly and good to someone else. No matter who and no matter the situation. Gift someone a small moment of attention and make their day just a little better.
A law should be broad, to be applicable for a long time and multiple situations, yet clear enough not to be misunderstood.
For example, once it is decided if conduct is deemed unfair or dangerous, there should be little interpretation on the consequences and they should differ.
Weirdly laws are usually very specific on what is deemed unfair, yet rarely on what is dangerous.
Laws and regulation should never be to specific. You give very specific guidelines and times, such as 8 years, 50% of etc.

Assume there is a ground truth to all knowledge and it is finite. Above that is an infinite amount of recombination, remixes or transformations. Most of the ground truth has been uncovered in tedious small steps over centuries growing to a vast library. Now assume none of us can hold it in a single brain. Just some time ago people thought a computer is a middle class woman performing calculations, tables of hard to calculate functions. Yes absolut exactly. LUCA comes to mind as a base class. Obviously attributes and methods differ quite greatly, we are not just dogs. To reconcile all abuse in this life sounds great, to the humans class, to the dog class it is probably of little interest.
Yet specific therapy dogs can take a lot of abuse, without ever lashing out. They are great for troubled children.

I may imagin Job being as class with core attributes, integrity and commitment, and the variable attributes like wife, wealth, family etc. You can have billions of different instances of Job and the variable attributes may change over time. If integrity and commitment are unphased by that, the instance of Job is reliable. It is Jobs choice to be reliable, no matter his attributes.
Mistreating dogs changes their core attributes and makes them less reliable. They might be rehabilitated, but this crucial part is not their choice.

A late interpretation for me is viewing him, with what he has defined.
If faith would be praying five times a day and avoiding shellfish, his story becomes meaningless.
As you pointed out well, there are many scholars who discussed faith and belief over time. I am not a religious authority, think of me as a simpleton. You may choose their take on the word, it is a late interpretation to me. It could be a whole book on the matter.

Politicians conveniently suffer from amnesia, when pressed on some issues, concerning money, who they have met or what was shared with them. That is to say stupidity works as an excuse, even though we don't like it.
"Competently-executed" is taking it too far. Look at the mess, it's all childish and cruel.
There is another one concerning stupidity. It is that stupidity and love can not be differentiated from the outside. Not knowing if you are in love or just stupid, is in essence a heartbreak.
Imagine sending help in form of water, food or school equipment to children in a warzone being equated to aiding terrorism.
Politicians failing to read the writing on the wall, then overcorrecting and acting devoid of all humanity and only for selfish reasons is the norm, sadly. What the conspiracy theory is doing, is proposing this to be a clever move, when selfishness and stupidity also suffice as explanation.

Surprisingly it is still plausible. It is a niche application for a very specific form factor and purpose.
They told me, people would drink themselves to death more easily. So it was only reserved for people who were clearly in control, I may have seen one patient with it and hundreds of hardcore alcoholics. The patient on them, needed to be isolated and we all got informed to not give him alcohol under any circumstances. Which is much more difficult, then one would think. These people always talk about alcohol romantically.
The alcoholis always find a way to get to alcohol, we had a reductive approach on station. There was 2 beers a day, one with breakfast and one with a late dinner. Which was offered open and could be willingly declined, it rarely was. If problem arose during the stay, we had shots of clear alcohol, just don't show the bottle. This was for the hardcore patients, who couldn't even walk otherwise. Get a shot, get an x-ray, really speed things along. The idea was to get them down to a state, were you could manage them somewhat, reduce their pressure and then offer treatment for their other ills, which was our responsibility. It is extremely difficult, we had people drink perfume and hand sanitizer, because we didn't offer the beers and their alcoholism slipped under the radar. They would never admit to drinking. Alcoholism is such a crazy disease, these people can emotionally blackmail others to bring them alcohol and lieing is part of the disease. Those people ignore or don't even comprehend that they are drinking sometimes. Beer and Champaign aren't alcohol to them and are ignored, they will tell you they haven't had a drink in a three weeks stay, having 2 beers a day and half a bottle of liquor, that you provided. It is crazy.
Giving them medication, that can kill them when they empty their bottle of liquor, is stupid.
Seems impossible, to have a medication that eliviates the effects of hardcore alcohol withdrawal, but is also harmless with a bottle of hard liquor. Maybe I'm wrong here, but sounds to good to be true.
I don't believe in magic pills. Try honesty, the self-delusion of alcohol is the big problem. Pills are another form of delusion. Just accept to feel horrible for a while as part of the process? Or is taking a pill so vastly different from talking a shot of liquor?

For some reason, getting a job from unemployment is often very difficult, while it is much easier to find a new position when you already employed.
You are more confident then, have a better stance in negotiation, etc.
If you have enough resources and assets to burn through, while skilling up without pay, you are quite lucky.
That's difficult, motivation is the ultimate key. I love to unwind, doing something else, startet wakeboarding and smashing my face in water. Started a weird obsession of meeting real people playing some GO, chatting and loosing.

I always thought it would be very logical to translate your specific landmark or job into a lastname. Just the typical lack of creativity of a governmental employee.

Sometimes we prefer verbose, sometimes concise. Sometimes a word already has all the meaning we need, another time we need a long description and examples. Depends on our level of knowledge.
So from my limited point of view, you excell at moving any statement into something you can comprehend easily or that is helpful to you.
That is a nice skill and it should vastly improve your ability to communicate and express yourself.

In my experience about a quarter of the younger generation give the wrong answer to long text based questions. The question stated was:
"Would you favor or oppose the government installing surveillance cameras in every household to reduce domestic violence, abuse, and other illegal activity?"
Very bad question, especially if your possible answers are [Yes] and [No]. What is a household? Just the entrance?
It's a story, the ferryman has the oar, he stops being the ferryman without it, the next guy having it is the new ferryman. So you just pass it on. It's a task you can never finish but only pass on.

You can unload task and work on them. When I have to deal with a smart talker I usually try to use the opportunity to pass the Sharon paddle. It shuts them up most of the time and they then avoid me. If I fiddle with a device, just moving away and let them do it, usually ends it very quickly. Put them on the spot. In meeting it is much better, but it is delicate art of baiting people and anticipating them. Unload unfavourable task to them and grab something fun on the way.
You be surprised, sometimes those smart talkers produce some interesting result when triggered correctly. Some get overwhelmed and might break, so be careful with this.
