I made a music app for iOS for myself, after not finding anything that did what I wanted as a non-streamer: visualization, audiobooks support, section loops, bookmarks, sleep timers, import from any source, etc.

In the end, I did put it on the App Store (after months of cleanup!) but it's easily the most used app on my phone.

I am almost ready with the music app that I have always wanted; a fully featured app for those of us who love to buy and listen to our own collection. Here is an introductory blog post: https://sakunlabs.com/blog/muziqi-intro/

Some of the features I am including in this version: - import music from the Music app (downloaded locally), from Files app, via a web server - a music visualizer, with three presets - waveform views - mark and store segments of a song - bookmarks - an equalizer and a bunch of smaller features, like pinning music to the Home view, remembering playback for an album or playlist.

How different is the state managementin SwiftUI compared to the state in rui?

Zas Editor 4 years ago

There has been a resurgence of native editors these days (Helix, Nova, …). Every time I rush to check if there are vim keybindings. It's a dealbreaker otherwise!

I made Metaset (https://metaset.io) to quickly do visual analysis on data sets. Started from my own needs for a project that spit out large CSV files. Excel or Tableau were too cumbersome and I didn't bother doing pandas and matplotlib.

Later I found someone with a similar need but for Postgres databases. It's been pulling in a decent side income.

I am embarrassed by the amateur UI. There is so much I want to do around "smart" visualization, but haven't had time.

It is often argued that the Prophet's inadequate actions would form part of a teachable moment. So in this case, it shows the importance of making promises you can keep, having failsafe measures etc., that Bilal could have done.

Not sure if that's one of the traditional opinions in this case, but seems plausible. See here: http://ilookilisten.wordpress.com/2011/10/13/when-a-prayer-g...

Also, there is no mention that the Prophet himself had not woken up for the pre-dawn prayers. But that could be a stretch.
