I literally just had this discussion with a friend an hour ago. My feed was mostly photography content, motorcycles, tech... and today I was bombarded by the most brutal dying videos and some of them were not even behind a safe screen. I feel awful and sick. This is getting out of control. I've uninstalled the app.
My best friend died of pancreatic cancer at 41. By the time he received the diagnosis, it was too late. The cancer had metastasized so extensively that the surgeons could do nothing when they attempted to operate. What began as mild lower back pain led to a slow and agonizing death in just a few months.
Session timed out. I'm in Macedonia. In the quick login menu there was another person with name and profile photo beside my name and profile photo. It seems the girl was from my country, don't know her. I thought I was hacked. This is messed up.
IG is not working as well. Feeds, profiles, messages are all blank.
I recently got diagnosed with C5-C6 disc herniation. I mean, I knew it was there, but only recently it started showing some more serious symptoms. Constant neck pain, right upper arm pain, burning sensation, numbness, sharp pain in the arm on specific neck movements... I've started taking NSAIDs the past week and today I did the scan...
A mid-tier GPU is more than enough if you're willing to wait a bit more on render times. You can always optimize the scene to lower rendering times. This video is 1800 frames. Depending whether it was rendered with Eevee or Cycles, it can take anywhere from a few hours up to a day or more to render the whole animation by using a single mid-high end GPU like a 3060 or 3070.
I don't understand after all these years why there's still this obsession with the Titanic. What keeps fueling its enduring fascination? People spending 1/4 million just to barely see a sunken ship? Bragging rights for the rich?
This only happens when Windows has a major updaye, usually overnight if you leave your PC on. On the next startup you're always greeted with a full screen overview of new features, setup, etc.
It's nice to see this on the front page. AFAIK, many years ago the development team split and BeamNG.drive was born. Rigs of Rods stagnated with new features and development, while BeamNG continued improving and adding new content. Today BeamNG is far superior in every aspect: physics, graphics, content.
It seems they pulled the page down, no idea why. You can search for NMKD GUI on Google and find another source perhaps, there are lots of reddit threads about this.
The "create a restore point" part is handled by Microsoft VSS (Volume Shadow Copy Service) and it probably failed because of issues with the OS, not the software itself.
For engine nerds, you should check out Automation - The Car Company Tycoon Game [1]. It is basically a car builder simulator where you go through every aspect of developing a car - chassis design, suspension, engine..
I spent hours tuning and building exotic engines. 6 liter turbo inline 3? 1 liter NA V12? Only your imagination is the limit.
Just for reference, I am using KDE Neon 5.25 and cold boot mem usage is around 800 megs. I'm not sure how the author got his numbers, but something is way off.
