I actually explicitly said that it's good, also my "illegal" use is buying API credits, games, receiving money for my legal work, and saving my money on a stable coin because the Iranian currency is nowhere near stable id have lost half of my money if I did not save it crypto
I live in Kurdistan (Iran) because of sanctions if it was not for crypto buying something online would have been one of the most difficult things i could do. i should have used middleman that give no guarantee to their services and suck. so I'm glad for crypto that i can receive my revenue and buy things. and instantly send money.
note: i read the comments and all of them argue against it because of its energy consumption. I don't find any of them convincing crypto has been good to me and i want it to be good for others too. The only thing that i care about are pedos and drug dealers which makes very upset because it's very true, they use it and i wish there was a way to track them.

I think we disagree on a fundamental level. what i have perceived in HN is that most ppl here tries to point out different angles of things. even if you post something totally positive and beneficial there will be someone to point out the weak points and i love it (you can ignore them or not).
Hn is the place where smart ppl give you feedback. I have benefited in many ways from hn.
Because linkedin main audience are like marketers, CEOs and more ppl to promote their stuff and connect with other and they love it and wont leave it. But as a technical person i have not benefited from it in any shape or form except for saying yeah im here too.
Merry Christmas from Kurdistan
Right now, water is not available all day.
Even if we solve coding part by replacing it entirely with AI there are still many other factors involved making software. AI alone simply is not native to the procedure we have to release software
I haven’t read the article but it was funny because did someone trap me in a matrix where building a CMS is bad?
So basically, to save the world countries need to help mothers that work or woman that might want to have kids. because looks like the biggest factor is a sexist and extreme work culture.
I have had 10 of these messages in linkedin in the past few months and all of used bitbucket or gitea self hosted. I never ran the code because a colleague of mine a year ago told me a similar story
I agree i was banned pre Musk i think now its more free and less bans
If i do that you will need archaeologists to find out what i have writen
He is lobbying in favor of fossil fuel. The climate worsens year by year and we somehow manage to find ways to make it worse
More personal tho
I'm already working on my own side hustles. future proofing yourself currently is bound to making sure that you have deep knowledge and can solve things that i can't.
The amount of generated code is getting more and more. But also, on the other hand the amount of production ready code is less than before. because people need to make sure it works which in my experience with vibe coding, it never works if you don't review the code apply strict constraints and a good modular folder structure.
Only startups and solo developers skip that part.
that's pretty useful
Well i hope that happens, you go apply for a job already 10k applied. What kind of job market is this.
Great app, I have added it to my home page.
I agree on this. I thought LLMs are great for coding but they suck. They produce more work with debugging.
I think I is good in two way, one is which you use if as a small helper (basic questions, auto completion...)
Two for getting started on something that you have no idea on ( not to teach you but just give you an idea of what it's and resources to learn more)
yes i agree. i currently feel i need safe zone to stop in and just think and process what i have done and how far i have come maybe a few months will do.
Yes I really should get back to mediating
what about iframes?
I work for an asshole, it's been 4 years but i can't find any other job (frontend) i found the job when i was 17. i hate it so much that i don't have any will to code on other things but lately i have been learning more low level programming like c and doing shaders using c.
Nice but it needs more testing. Sometimes it doesn't move.
You need to differentiate between one tap (for clicking on an item) and dragging so that it moves even if you drag the buttons
Don't put auth wall when launching on hacker news if your intention is getting feedback.
Good point, but I believe that this is what the anime intended. Because if you look at it, this is what Okabe does, changes the past with the least effects. You are totally correct this amount of changes is actually a lot
I mean now you know what it's and you can watch and enjoy it it's way more complex than what I wrote (although I guess I fked up):)
Haha, no no I just read about Quantum physics to learn the buzz words. And this article does not make a clear conclusion. I only wanted to connect that hamming part with it.
