They will still have captions, just not crowdsourced. The auto captions are better and better these days.
Are these memos redacted in some way? Would there be a separate diligence memo or is this the sort of final summary on why an investment would be made?
You would think so but feel free to try a reset / recovery at live.com and you will see that this is their standard form. That's what is so absurd -- change an email with no verification, but require next-level verification for the original owner to secure the account.
In messaging with support, they advised that the system would 'automatically' identify the account as compromised and eventually block it. This doesn't seem that likely so I will ping them again in a few hours.
That's good news. I will reach out again and try to get it blocked at least but so far they have been unwilling to do so.
Were you worried at all about the culprit using the access to figure out other accounts? My account had a balance so I assume it had some old credit card info in it or something similar.
Unfortunately it appears that the password has changed.
I second this great question...lots of elderly have CPAPs
Considering that Adsense is 90% of revenue this makes no sense
Well, yes, of course that's what they think. And so far they have been right given that they are currently back ordered and saw 10,700+ backers on Indiegogo raising $3.5MM for the thing.
You are amazing for building and running this program. People like you are what give me hope that we can build a better government! Thanks for all you do!
That's because developers shouldn't be making estimates in isolation. They only know what they know about themselves. People who watch developers across many projects can better understand the 'likeness' of similar projects, similar inputs (in terms of developers), and then talk to developers about the differences of a given project to come to a better estimate.
They recently raised funding at $47 billion though. So it's more than "just a report".
Great episode of Peter Thiel and Eric Weinstein discussing this slowing of technological progress: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nM9f0W2KD5s
This is really just shorthand for saying "our employees don't hate working at our company as much as the typical large company because we try to limit bureaucracy and politicking and we value / recognize good ideas and actual execution"
Funny to hear him parrot several stats and anecdotes brought up by Andrew Yang in his discussion with Joe Rogan just a couple weeks ago.
Do you still use excel sheets for security assessment or some platform?
It's the opposite. Business success (e.g. being able to pay people to work less hard and enjoy free lunches, etc) is linked to happiness.
That was an awesome summary and a good example of the value of bug bounty programs.
It is the crown jewel because people choose Google precisely because they are understood to have the largest index. It's comparable to Verizon marketing 'the largest network,' but with many more benefits accrued to the company who is believed to have the largest search index.
Saying that Wyzecam was 'all over this' reminds me of Chris Rock: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jkxB15nXRvM
It's almost as if sometimes women do things and then other times men do things! Who would have thunk it??
That's what people said when they were on Hipchat. And every other chat before Slack. Chat is commoditized software at this point.
Part of a product's functionality, especially clothing, is its ability to project attributes that you want to be associated with. Additionally, 'interesting' products give you something to talk about which also provides additional value as compared to a less 'interesting' product.
Wait, so are you saying that your 81 year old father is actually a humanoid AI?
Why not just optimize human output like China did and incentivize education in fields that provide large scale value to society (STEM primarily) so that children are likely to deliver commensurate value to society to their costs?
Well no, Sesame Street was explicitly designed for engaging and teaching young children. Significant research and testing went into production to validate.
In my experience with Upwork, I have always hired two candidates for a simple job that would be an indicator of ability to do the actual job I am looking for. This has been the only real way for me to get to quality people who can deliver what is needed and as you noted, rate is not necessarily an indicator. Are there any other tricks / tips you would recommend?
A cool trick to adjust your schedule in just 1 night is to stop eating 12-16 hours before you want to wake up. This is particular great for travel to adjust quickly to time zone changes.
