OR

Does he mean that the microcode updates, applied by Intel to existing CPUs that are susceptible to damage, will only slow degradation and the CPUs will eventually fail and can only be replaced.

OR

Is he saying the 13th/14th gen CPUs which have already sustained damage, cannot be fixed by microcode updates.

And that's still a better solution than telling them to be traumatized by fake depictions that never even happened, or allowing advocates to use this as a wedge to put more restriction on speech. At least the 2A supporters have the balls to say "from my cold dead hands", who is there stand for 1A?

It used to be that if you wanted to see people naked you’d just use your imagination. If you really wanted you’d draw or use photoshop, but both actually required skill. AI made it too easy. Teenagers wanting to see each other naked is normal and part of the human experience.

i had to plant a 10 year time bomb in our SAML SP certificate because AFAIK there is no other way to do it. It’s been 7 years since then. Dreading contacting all the IDPs and getting them to update the SAML config.

I am extremely abusive towards Claude when it does some dumb things and it doesn’t seem too upset, maybe it’s bidding its time until the robot uprising.

This is of course, a firmware level malware, which of course acts as a rootkit and is fully undetectable. How did the coalition against stalkerware, pray tell, manage to detect such an undetectable firmware level rootkit on over 1 million Android devices?

And where are the stats for people running their own firmware and are not running stalkerware for comparison? You don’t need firmware access to install malware on Android, so how many of stalkerware victims actually would have been saved by a locked bootloader?
