If the markets are like this when there are a few hundred cases in the UK and US, what will they be like when there are tens, or hundreds of thousands of cases and major cities are in lockdown?

Investors are trying to judge the likelihood of these very events and selling / buying accordingly. Markets are based on predictions.

I was stating my initial interpretation from the title alone.

It should be a given that responding in a chain with the OP stating 'By crypto they mean cryptography here.' I have ascertained the 'crypto' in the title now refers to cryptography.

This is an example to backup the statement. The US starts from a strong principle of free speech. European countries generally don't value this as highly, and will censor speech if they feel it is necessary.

I don't see why this makes Dyson a terrible person.

Complaining that you can't have the political discussion that you want on a forum where politics is officially off-topic, is like complaining that you can't have the bacon cheese burger (with real pig and cow involved) that you want in the vegan restaurant you've decided to take lunch in.

Except this is disingenuous. There are political discussions found here, but one side is generally downvoted.
