Very sad. Such a thoughtful writer. He always had an angle that no one else had. Will miss reading his words.

Just two things for me: telling time, same as yourself, and notifying me that my watch has a text message I might want to attend to. If I could replace the notification feature somehow I’d do that.
I used to use it for running but it performs that job very poorly compared to my $200 Garmin.
Cool project. Curious why you're moving to self-hosted, and if you go through with it, also curious how that experience goes.
+2 for running. Running can become a nice little exercise and data collecting obsession.
Great post. I coach my son’s club and school teams. 4 practices + games each week. A huge commitment but pays off in so many ways. Good for you for volunteering!
Shorter, cheaper flights. Toronto to Orlando is 2.5 hrs I think?
Very cool idea. Nicely done too.
I was playing Dragon Warrior (great game!) at 14. This is really cool. Congrats.
very cool project! How's Supabase been to work with? (I work here, curious about feedback!)
This is very cool. Great work!
We had a brief outage with our gateway api this morning. We'll be publishing a full RCA in the next 48hrs.
extremely cool use of supabase =) would love more details on how you use it
Very cool project!
"Reminders" is maybe the most poorly named app of all time. The last thing it does is remind you of anything.
Tell them.
We're investigating right now. Looks like a potential issue with Cloudflare.
Had a huge scare after a concert a few years ago. My ears hurt and were very poor for a few days after. Very scary.
Luckily it went away. I wear ear protection all the time now. agree that there should be laws governing sound volume.
Sorry to hear about the inspiration for this. It's very nicely done. Great work.

Came here to look to this!
Curious why supa and Firebase?
Found the same thing. I was toying with a Discord bot a few weeks ago that involved setting up and running a node server, deployed to Fly via docker. A bunch of stuff a bit out of my wheelhouse. All of it turned out to be totally straightforward with LLM assistance.
Thinking bigger is a practice to hone.
Beautifully done. I would buy this board in a heartbeat. I'd also buy a course on how you built it.
Why Elixir & Phoenix and Next.js?
Very cool concept!
Yes and yes.
this is extremely cool — works really well
Greatest cookie banner I’ve ever seen.
Very cool project
very cool — I assume you've monetized this past 500/mo?
