Is there anything like Skaffold that works with Podman?

Only thing I really miss is good Podman support in Skaffold.

As I understand they propose to pass the data explicitly, like a struct with fields for all possible request-scoped data.

So basically context.Context, except it can't propagate through third party libraries?

The latter one shows your password in the process listing.

That's true if you need to clean up temporary files every night or make a backup.

But what if your cronjob has an effect in the physical world, locally? E.g. open the parking gates every morning.

For sure there are gains to be made by having proper material as opposed to entry level, but those quickly become marginal.

The biggest gains by far are usually found in working on your driving style. Have a look at telemetry of someone who's slightly faster and work out the differences methodologically.

Not much feature development is perfectly fine if it works! Things don't have to evolve.

Planning to use litestream as a library to dynamically swap in/out dozens of databases in a process. Looking at the code it'll easily allow that (super clean, kudos!).

I tried reasoning with the founder about how, as a build engineer, I find that highly disturbing, but they don't see any trouble with that.

Wouldn't recommend, for that reason alone. Tidelift may be a better option here.

What's even more infuriating is that if you're on the legacy Google Apps for Domain plan, the only way to upgrade storage is by going to Workplace for the whole domain, even if only one person (my mother) requires it.

So instead of buying her a $20/year plan for 100 GB, they're forcing a hundreds of dollars yearly plan on me.

And obviously there's no way to detach that one account.

Looking for a better option here.
