Exactly what I'm saying: For simple stuff, google is still superior. But for complex stuff (i.e., code snippets in PHP). ChatGPT is way better.

Perplexity quotes it's responses, ChatGPT now does so too in many cases – if they're wrong, so is a google search since the source quality is bad.

There's outdated data by design, a point that i missed, i agree. I hope the automatic fallback to bing search is getting better (faster).

Hey there, that's extremely cool! I like the simplicity the most. One thing to improve on would be a error message that explains why there are sometimes no results (e.g., I type in "ginger tofu" and there is no recipe even though there is a Ginger Tofu that shows up if I type in tofu alone.)

Besides that I was also wondering what kind of tech stack did you use to create the search?

I'm still looking for a similar solution to query data on my Wordpress website (it's currently inside an app but I want to transition to an all-in-one solution eventually).

Depends on your personal needs. Performance wise (if you only use text) I wouldn't be willing to pay for it.

For me, the pro version was useful to: - analyze data - make meaning of IRL stuff when in a different country – walk & talk (but now that's available for free too)
