I hear and read so much shit by VCs. Both in LinkedIn and in private meetings. Specially Menlo says a lot of shit (check LinkedIn). Deloitte and McKinsey, also full of crap. Really.

Vcs are choke full of companies that can be cloned over night, SaaS companies that will face ridiculously fast substitution, and a whoooole lotta capital deployed on lousy RAGs and OpenAI Wrappers.

It’s convoluted because it’s slop. You can’t even be sure the text came out as intended. It is full of GPT style markers that tell me the author wasn’t careful enough in review. Jolting bullets in markdown and asking for a full article is not good enough for publication. It’s today’s version of let me google that for you. No one publishes half ass markdown notes for a reason. Asking LLM to finish it doesn’t cut it.

I can’t take seriously an article on AI written so obviously using AI. The unmistakable (lack of) style. If the author is not even aware that the rhetoric that GPT produces is unvaried and predictable, how can I believe the author really means what they write? Slop is cancer
