It's an interesting concept, though I don't know if I understand how this will help people improve their sex life. It's just about sharing secrets anonymously, right?

It's a really interesting and complex topic to think about. I don't feel knowledgeable enough to make arguments one way or another, but I'd like to think that two species from different planets could happen upon each other at least by accident, in the same way that I, as a human, encounter an ant on the sidewalk. We're the most advanced on the planet; we may not care to interact with every living being on Earth, but that doesn't mean we won't step on them while moving from point A to B.

Ditto. I'm hesitant to use the word "elitism" to describe the outspoken Apple fans, but it's especially aggravating when someone writes up extremely harsh reviews or descriptions of a competing product when it doesn't act or perform in the way that matches their ideal.

Also, I know everyone has the right to freedom of speech and such, but I find it to be somewhat disgusting and irresponsible for people with large followings to take cheap shots at competing platforms just to get people riled up.

As a person who hates hearing the political arguments around this subject, I am excited to hear people talking about this.

As a dev who knows how hard/impossible it can be to write bug-free software, I think this could be opening a can of worms. The Next Generation of gun law debates could end up being about software failures, privacy, and intense political debates and stupid bills that dictate how/when guns can be rightfully fired.

I'm kinda bummed I didn't get in on the Kickstarter to get one of these. I have emailed them and found out that I could purchase one for $800, but I simply can't afford that right now. It's a longshot, but if anyone out there is getting a dev console and has changed their mind or just doesn't envision having time to play with it, I'd be happy to buy it off of you... get in touch :)

Immediately prior to reading this, I was writing about how non-game developers can indeed bring a unique perspective to the table when developing games. This is definitely an inspirational story and helpful in reaffirming my thoughts. Thanks for sharing.

I've been turned off by Google's recruiting style as well. I don't understand why the current state of tech recruiting is to blast out (almost) generic recruiting emails to everyone. It feels like this style of recruiting should have gone away by now.
