Apples clamshell mode support is super confusing IMHO. This is once thing Windows does better at least by default. Perhaps Macs can be configured to what I expect but I personally have struggled with getting it to work in a way that satisfies me.
There really isn't a competitor to the Wrangler if you're into offroading. Sure pickup trucks compete but the size of a Wrangler + the massive aftermarket support make it hard to beat. The new Bronco might eat some of the market but time will tell.

My point about drawing a line is that it needs to be defined (i.e. you can't use a broom with coefficient of friction greater than X (for example, I claim not scientific basis on this)). Having top teams indicate they don't like a change is a good signal to the governing body that sets rules but other teams will use the technology if it is better.
They can't just add a rule that says you can't use Brand X equipment - it has to declare limits on what the equipment is.
Not sure I want to develop on an OS that automatically applies updates - keeping a stable environment is important. I would fear that some dependency could change and break what I'm working on without notice.

If you're flying from a Canadian airport to the US (from Ottawa or Toronto at least) you actually clear US customs while still in Canada. This is actually very convenient as before they started this clearing customs in the US would involve a long line if many fights were arriving at the same time.
