50 years onward and every innovation seems to break, rather than improve, the tried and true relational database model.

You don't hate to deify Jobs since you just made a completely unnecessary and off topic deification of him.
more likely because women who are taller tend to be more selective about their partner (they want them to be taller than them).. which means they end up having babies at a later age.
Having children at 35 Didn't seem to be a problem decades ago.. like with many of the other newly popular maladies I think that it has to do more with stuff in our environment poisoning our sperm/ovaries than simply "aging". We might never find the culprit of course because it will hurt X big corporation bottom line.
React/Solid etc also invent their own DSL, each js framework just does it their own way.
Man they're really screwing developers over in Europe. That's what they earn in the third world.
HR should do HR, as an engineer interviewing someone for his team you should do you.
but does anyone at this point really understand it deeply enough to file an arrest warrant?
That hasn't stopped prosecutors before. This is happening because there is no appetite to go after him, people can take a look at the public record so far and wonder why this might be the case.
there's more to it than that.. but the steps he's making are certainly better than the previous status quo. The enemy of my enemy so on and so forth.
Try Fedora. I used to be an ubuntu guy, changed to Fedora KDE years ago and never looked back.
Didn't know it had gotten that bad. I stopped using it when it was clear the desktop was no longer a priority for them. Not blaming them since they're a private company but with so many alternatives there's no need to use a second class Linux "desktop". Fedora is more than great imho.
They certainly are no better than Google in that respect. Wikipedia has been censoring and promoting tilted political edits to the pages of certain figures for years now. Unbeknownst to most people, Wikipedia is central to the global censorship apparatus that's been put in place in the last decade or so.
And not even then. Most VPN providers in the top 10 are actually very shady and their organizational structure is quite opaque.. to say the least. I wouldn't be surprised if at least half of the top providers are actually FBI fronts, like the ANOM chat app.
Saving the planet
That's what they told you and you believed it. Hope you enjoy the crickets they're gonna make you eat while you charge your car. All in order to 'save the planet' I'm sure.
I've had to change the battery of every laptop I ever owned after a year or two after warranty expires. Why would anyone buy a laptop with a non removable battery? It's crazy.
Reminds me of those journalists who penned a letter against censorship but used a pen name to sign it lol.
Think about the recent .org debacle
I missed that one. Can anyone offer a few keywords? "org debacle" isn't search friendly.
Just a matter of creating a person specific group, no?
You're assuming those laws were passed with the public in mind.
YouTube is increasingly only a few pain points from mass exodus from both creators and audience.
I hate to burst your bubble but that's not even close to be a realistic possibility. Wish it was but it's just not.
But every worker wants to be the one getting the promotion.
Big Pharma is an easy villain to hate (and there's a lot to hate) but why aren't the doctors who prescribed all these drugs being held accountable as well?
Communism would't work, without some benevolent AI running it
Oh really? And who would build that "benevolent" AI? A lot of things that may be benevolent for you may not be so benevolent for others.
Isn't the point to showcase his developer abilities? Not sure why he would need a pre-designed Web app for this.
On amazon there are cam blockers with a lid that allows you to block and unblock the cam.
I don't think the USG will allow SpaceX to be acquired by a Chinese company.
I admire Musk as much as the next guy but SpaceX has always seemed fraught in the QA department[1]. I'd be surprised if they can survive long enough to accomplish their Mars mission if they keep screwing up this often.
[1] Which also seems to be a problem at Tesla as of late.
They're actively serving the big market, and writing a blog post about how sorry they are that they're ignoring the tiny market.
Funny. Porn is far from being a small market online. And taking on porn related businesses doesn't mean they have to stop serving other types of businesses.
what is their motive in lying about that?
Not seem like gatekeepers when they're being gatekeepers. I guess it hurts their anti establishment affectations or something.
Sidelining well established standards isn't the solution to the web's problems. This is one of the instances where being open source it's not enough and coming from Google it is actually worrying. A very obvious Trojan horse in my opinion.
