It shot down what is claimed to be "hypersonic" missle by russians. I don't know about "kinzhal" speeds, but the rockets are indeed was shot down a bunch of times. Speaking about "cyrcon" missiles, they do travel at the hypersonic speed but slowing down at the last miles of trajectory and can (and was) shot down too.

I was dreamed about this set back in mid-90s. Unfortunately my parents wasn't able to afford it, and I only had small and mid sets and not a single "technics" set.

So I was doomed to re-read a paper catalog countless times hoping someday I'll get it.

Telegram is a publishing platform. It's a big deal in the post-soviet countries. The "channels" thing is widely used for publishing by media, gov and bloggers. It's more like social network than plain messenger for a long time already.

I did similar rss-like implementation for my own needs because of frustration of reading and experience, also there is a bunch of similar services.

The reason for not using microblogging is engagement. No one will read it and no one comment on it. Telegram had built-in comments for channel post and people actively interacting here.

I'm somewhat popular blogger in my niche and so far telegram is the best channel I have. I repost all stuff to my own site and medium, but it gain a fraction of views and interactions I get on telegram.

I did it once in my career. We've had one legacy PHP project designed to work for MySQL. I was in charge of bringing it back to live and I decided to host in on Heroku for the sake of simple deployment. While Heroku does have MySQL addons I opted for using Postgres.

So we've just switched underlying connection and fixed a dozen of (mostly reports) places with plain SQL queries with MySQL-specific syntax. ORM library handled rest just perfectly.
