GBTC has no redemption mechanism, you can wrap more BTC into GBTC but not the other way around. For ETFs this is what solves the arb. You can do your arb but you still need to offload GBTC at some point and the only option is to another buyer of GBTC.

There's a big difference between AWS Aurora and AWS RDS PG. Both are managed services.

Happy with 1G Hyperoptic too. There's IPV6 or £5/month if you want your own IPv4 otherwise it's CGNAT.

I have no problems with a gigabit symmetrical line on ERLite-3. UniFi Security Gateway is the same hardware but in a nicer interface that works with UniFi APs & Switches if you want to go that route but you have to also host a controller. You can also upgrade to a ER-4 for a much faster CPU but I don't think you need to.

You are technically true but if you don't have internet connection to get the almanac (future position of satellites) you have to wait 12.5 minutes to download it very slowly from the GPS itself. That's what parent was saying. It works but the time-to-fix is very high.

What makes you say that ? Facebook barely makes $5/quarter (3 months) in revenue. They couldn't even afford $1/month/user. Meanwhile Twitter has never turned a profit ever.

Try Capture One since they have specific support for X-Trans since version 10. Or if you want to continue Lightroom you can bulk transfer the raw files with Irident X-Transformer then import them in Lightroom. Only worth it if you really want the best quality.

It's not just battery life, some people might live with 50% battery but due to chemistry they can't put out the designed voltage leading to the iPhone suddenly turning off.

It is a good investment until due to mismanagement they don't make enough revenue to pay up. PREPA is already in default on their bonds so I don't see how they can convince anyone to lend them even more money. The previous bondholders probably have dibs on the income stream already.

ISPs are providing a service to their users: the internet. Their users pay for internet access (not just a certain subset) and they decide that they want to use the bandwidth for Youtube or Facebook. 5mbps on a "cable in the snow" is 5mbps regardless if it's coming from Youtube or Netflix or some indie company.

What tax loopholes are used to avoid local taxes ? From my understanding corporate tax doesn't go to the local government. Looking at City of MV page they only tax Business license, property and sales tax. From what I know they prefer offices due to prop 13 which limits property tax growth.

You can get the same from other kinds of USB-C docks, not just proprietary Microsoft. Griffin makes magnetic USB-C cable if that's what you are looking for and possibly other producers will start.

There is a risk but they would already lose all Android users. If Apple and Mozilla then join in they pretty much would lose all iOS and macOS users.

For a bank maybe a user would temporarily accommodate but it would affect online stores and SaaS business a lot.
