Get the coordinates of a place
On your Android phone or tablet, open the Google Maps app .
Touch and hold an area of the map that isn't labeled. You'll see a red pin appear.
You'll see the coordinates in the search box at the top.url doesn't work (Forbidden, You do not have permission to access the requested address (URL)).
In any case, I think the book parent is referring to: http://www.amazon.com/Common-LISP-Introduction-Computation-E...
Read all that and I still have no clue what the author is making now.

pentadactyl has a bit of learning curve to use it well. But after having using it for many years, it is the only addon that is keeping me away from chrome. No other vim style addon for chrome or firefox has come close, for me.

yes, it's the easiest way if no one else is doing the same thing.
But if there are a bunch of websites like these, which do the same thing and no one ever receives as no communication any time soon, no one's going to believe this has better chances than other.
At which point it's just a pain in the neck to signup for these.
if you like vimium, you should be swooning over what pentadactyl can do
can someone verify user id davidsegal?
since the author himself has asked for downvoting/flagging, please consider doing it.

adding to your point, i can actually make a point "teach kids finance so they earn more and can pay someone to do programming for them", actually more useful in real life. actually let's extend it and say "teach kids finance"
may be you are looking for sublime text 3 http://www.sublimetext.com/3
If that's not your issue, please state clearly what your issue is. Not many people here are clairvoyant.
Just like the Supreme Court should be representative, and Congress should be representative.
in that case people who have not studied law would be on supreme court bench along with people who did. and people who have not won the election would be representing people with people who have won the election.
that you can hire X without sacrificing quality, because there are thousands of eminently qualified candidates.
generalizing women with X above, implies there are equal number of qualified people in all groups, no matter whatever the ratio of the groups are.
i don't get how "Contoured and perpendicular keyboards make you tilt your fingers (need photo), hands, and forearms, which throws them off balance,". I use one. My hands are more relaxed with this keyboard.
high school students taking CS class != programmers. I would have thought person talking about logic would be more logical.
ohh yeahh, just like 'girls who code' means boys will never code. shut up.
I can't give you any advice but I can tell you how my setup changed my wrist and elbow pain
This is the current setup I have; (https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-e7NziCicKmw/UipPp8ZC4qI/A...)
Freestyle2 keyboard with ascent setup. Basically a vertical keyboard, with a distance of 36cm between the two splits (about my width)
regular mouse. (always thought a vertical mouse would be good, but I don't want to shell out $100 for that)
distance between my hand: 6cm, at most.
This seems to work for me and has taken lot of pain away from my wrists and elbows
I switch between standing desk and sitting on a chair. My wrists are never twisted and that seems to have had the most effect. My typing speed never took a hit (probably because I touch type)
Also the biggest thing for me is I use a lot less mouse in anycase because I do most of the stuff with keyboard shortcuts. Pentadactyl for firefox is a lot more useful because I can pretty much avoid using the mouse even when I'm browsing the web.
Emacs is a little problematic but I remapped the ctrl key to caps lock and that took out half the issues
So, even when I use the mouse (very rarely) I don't have to reach out a big distance, it's at most 6cms away.
Also get a mechanical keyboard, or any keyboard which will give you tactile feedback of keys being registered. Also which require lot less force to actuate the keys (cherry mx brown, blue, clear keys or some topre switches)
I also got a kbt pure keyboard (a 60% keyboard), so even with that the travel between the jkl; row and mouse is short.
I think this is a wonderful class for someone starting out and a good outline for people who want to get into practice of doing systematic design. https://class.coursera.org/programdesign-001/class
damn, same thing happened when they sent that rocket to moon. why do they do all these stuff when there are immediate problems people are facing?

I use pentadactyl (fork of vimperator). How different is it from pentadactyl?
and the flipside is it's unfair to those who want to earn skills even if it means they don't get paid.
probably because it's too political and not of interest to most of people on hn; even if it was, still mostly political.
Here's a radical idea: If you don't want DRM on your website, don't put DRM on your website.
They are not making anyone use DRM against their will.
