Personally I get immense enjoyment out of not doing anything useful, especially not on a big scale. So if I were to accidentally "make it big", I'd most likely not do it again and keep enjoying the small inconsequential things.

That doesn't sound right. Even 95% of max heart rate is sustainable for a long, long time. Intervals one can only sustain for 30s are way above VO2max intensity deep in the anaerobic zone. Heart rate pretty much maxes out on those.

That's the problem we're talking about. It is very feasible but only if performance and energy use is something you want to focus on, while accepting the economic penalty of not prioritizing time-to-market. This is just yet another case of unchecked capitalism and free market destroying the planet. Focusing on energy and resource conservation may be more important as well as feasible, but it's not quite as economically competitive. Unless the industry as a whole decide to do what's morally right, or it is regulated and mandated by the government.
In a modern compiled language and without using ten layers of abstraction. It is very feasible and does not require significantly more development effort, at least not compared to the energy and material savings.
JS is the most popular language. Thus most software is wasting orders of magnitude more energy than it should. The same functionality would require less than a tenth of processing power (and thus energy and physical hardware) if it were implemented properly.

I'm really liking it so far. I was able to find some obscure stuff that google failed me on with image search, using rather ridiculous queries. A few random searches also returned more relevant results on the first page. Will definitely keep using it for a while to see if this keeps up.
And that's why tech people don't really care about Apple. No wonder Apple devices are so unpopular in these circles here.
The way the C++ code looks makes me think that the language wasn't designed with this in mind. Modern programming concepts are really stretching the syntax of older languages to the point that there is just too much noise that is distracting from what is actually being done which makes simple things look confusing and complicated. I guess there is a reason Haskell code was used to demonstrate the concept.

The Big Bang is better understood as a Big Stretch, which is still ongoing. As time progresses there just happens to be more space added between things. The balloon analogy breaks down because the galaxies themselves, or the dots on the balloon don't get bigger due to gravity. The expansion of space is only relevant on huuuge distances, not interstellar or even intergalactic, only when one gets to galaxy clusters and superclusters.

Incorrect. Thanks to the ability of the US to project conventional force, they have deployed troops in Eastern Europe, the Baltic and the Black seas, thus stopping any further Russian aggression. This could only be done through a show of force that displays the ability and willingness to engage Russian forces should they try their tactics on a NATO state.
Furthemore, the US are keeping their side of the agreement. They are providing Ukraine with military equipment and intelligence and leading the way in destabilizing Putin's regime through sanctions. Thanks to that multi-levelled support and offensive Russia is right now losing the war in Ukraine and is on the brink of a Revolution itself.
All of this with barely any help from central Europe, which has its head up its ass and has succumbed to Russian influence and propaganda.
As a German I'm really glad about that. Germany is still not capable to act on its own. We're lucky the US are willing to hold us up while taking all the PR flak.
