I'm sure they play a role, but I have read that even teenagers are having less sex.
I don't think teenagers are thinking about housing and childcare when not pursuing sex.

As to China, it is all over India and Bangladesh, loaning money
Pakistan and Sri Lanka, yes china loans to them. India definitely not. Bangladesh I am not sure.
In short we Indians bought this upon ourselves.
I was with you till here. No, we did not bring this to ourselves. The answer is that USA has dumb policies.
Even Bernie Sanders was against TPP. Do you also think he's in bed with the Chinese government?
Chinese economy is definitely struggling. I don't buy the argument that the trade wars do not work. They hurt both sides. Question is who does it hurt more?
It feels like you haven't thought of it in a game theoretic perspective. In the classical prisoner paradox, the two prisoners gain the most by collaboration. But if one of the prisoner shows no good faith collaboration, it might be necessary for the other prisoner to also stop putting their faith in the uncollaborative one.
Pretty disingenuous don't you think? We all know trump says a lot of bullshit and contradictory things. He isn't Obama who was really good with his words.
But if all you have is trump saying "good strong leader", then you don't have much. Show actions not words.
They have 50 writers on payroll. 18k$ revenue doesn't sound too good. That is just 360$/person/month.
I've never understood techno-optimists on this point.
If Uber has such amazing technology that avoids accidents, they could deploy them as accident-avoidance for regular drivers. They could give normal driving control to the humans, and take over only if there is a potential of accident.
If you argue that these driver assistance technologies already exist, then you better not be comparing your magical AI on supersafe cars with sunny climate on well marked highways to the average driver on the average vehicle under average climate on average roads.
It will be ugly, just like the venezuelan government setting prices of food items led to farmers abandoning agriculture.
These have worked flawlessly for me.

Monty, the game show host, knows.
The assumption is that this didn't happen. Hence you must remove these cases from your sample set while calculating probability
who got the same grades as me is probably a better student and will be more sucessful with a given set of resources than I would since they overcame more adversity than I did.
Isn't that contradictory? Are you saying that african americans achieve the same as asian americans even though they did not have to study hard? Then why would affirmative action be necessary?
Affirmative action is applied to upgrade the scores of candidates with lower scores if they are of a disadvantaged minority. So, an asian american with higher scores (and who worked harder) will miss out on an opportunity to an african american with lower scores (who did not work as hard).
Yeah, if they think Genghis Khan failed on battlefields, I don't know who succeeded.
That's pretty bullshit if you consider their USP is cheap tunneling. Then they should be just building cheap tunneling then trying to build custom public transit that allow only for electric cars with compatible self driving systems.
We very well know that is not what costs money. Houses with everything you can suggest cost 200k$ in rural areas, but cost 2 million in metropolitan. Rent just follows the price.
Stock dilution I assume
Then go define your software developer purchasing power parity index.
Such economic measures are complex, and if you want to see a single number for a country, that number should be representative for everything and everyone
So it's either 1) accept affirmative action and we'll increase spending on education, or 2) reject affirmative action and we would spend this money somewhere else (maybe whatever else gets the votes)?
Yes, a lot in terms of cultural differences. So Asian-americans are being discriminated against because their parents make them study hard?
But if it's starting position you're worried about, you'd be worried about class. You would give affirmative action based on economic status, not race. That I would agree with.
Why not? If Asians are hardworking enough to occupy 70% of the top positions, why not?
But are you not the one championing for discriminatory policies? The ones against this ruling are looking for merit based systems, not discrimination.
If you read the argument, he/she is setting a lower bar and calling everyone qualified. They do not even acknowledge that their policies discriminate.
They did bring fame though right?
So, asians are less likely to be leaders because of their race? African-Americans are more likely to be leaders because of their race?
So, Bill gates, Zuckerberg, Sergey Brin, Larry Page etc etc did not bring their amla mater's any extra fame?
Is your bar just "do not besmirch the good name of this institution"? Then I guess nobody should care for or covet International olympiad winners.
Yeah that's a dynamic I can't understand. Most software professionals talk about relocating away from the cities the first chance they get, but everybody else is rushing to the same cities that only software developers seem to be able to afford.
This dynamic extends beyond usa. Even in India, doctors command high salaries in rural areas, often 2-3x what they can in metropolitan cities.
Then you shouldn't be trusting Tesla's marketing. Did you think Elon musk had personally made break throughs that ML scientists at Google are struggling over?
Hmm, Tesla definitely crossed into the road in that video.
If driving into live traffic and stopping in middle of it is acceptable, then okay, self driving cars are here!
That doesn't stop Tesla from driving into live traffic and stopping there. Look at the videos.
