Tab completion included standard in many editors is just as efficient. Linkbait title but Zen is cool.

I realize OP already altered the title, but I just want to reiterate that this is a universal problem and has zero to do with East vs West

This is great. Except you forgot to return "Unknown or expired link." every other request
Those are all way too long
I fail to see how the age of an account makes a point any less valid. Baseless elitism should be discouraged, not someone who could viably have been a lurker for years posting an honest opinion about how things have trended. Of course now this comment will likely be downvoted. You've changed, man.
It doesn't matter if you're a man or a woman: starting up a company when you know you have twins on the way is a really ballsy move. Like, ballsy to the point that I personally believe it shows a lack of dedication to the company, the babies, or perhaps a bit of both.
A startup company is basically a newborn baby. It requires continuous attention and care, cleaning and feeding. Except, unlike in the case of twins, it can't be given a bath and fed alongside another baby. This baby is an attention-hungry baby with special needs and demands, which requires focused, dedicated care to thrive and grow.
And to reverse the analogy, caring for children is in itself a full-time job, just as hard if not harder than starting a company. When shit hits the fan and you get 3 hours of sleep every night for a week, which of your dependents becomes your priority? Are you going to care for your children or get hard work done?
I'm not arguing that it can't be done, but I also think there's little argument that taking on both significantlty drives down the odds of success, to the point that it's questionable why any VC would give them their money.
I say either found your company before you have kids and wait until the company is no longer a newborn, or have your kids before you found and wait until the kids are no longer newborns.
Great job. You've made a great app here :)
Only one suggestion for usability -- autofocus the "Add a task" input on page load, so the user can begin typing without an extra click upon arrival (think Google.) I think this convention works well with any app which expects text input as its immediate feature

Me too.
This isn't a problem with hiring. For crying out loud, the founders of these companies aren't looking for jobs, they're founding companies. Larger companies are drooling over their customers, their products, and their people. There is a big difference.
I don't think that means what you think it means. You want a designer.
Don't get me wrong. I love cheap, fast internet as much as the next guy. But fair is fair... Why should the government be allowed to offer a service below its actual cost to market? No competitor can possibly hope to match, let alone beat their prices, at least without losing money. I am not a republican, but this is model is extremely unfair to the free market.
My point exactly.
Funny, they've been saying this ever since the last one.
Why?
What about Stallman? Not to discredit Torvalds, but a kernel != an operating system
First comment says it all

Agreed on your first two. I don't understand either of the second. Native app markets are not necessarily a threat to the open internet... only ones that are locked-down "walled gardens." And WebM and WebP are openly licensed specs.
Iroonnyyyyyy

Just use a fucking semicolon. Seriously, it's like people are embarrassed to write JavaScript. If you ever work with other people this shit doesn't fly very far.
