Adding to above, CH should take ownership of CH airbyte connector. There are so so many users waiting for it. Have a look at that issue/discussion in airbyte github repo.

Love everything about CH. However, we were at wits end syncing things to it from postgres. Airbyte was a let down with no normalisation (they had it but removed it). Meltano was seamless but with no ui. However, we have had issues with it as well. Peerdb is a welcome addition - will give it a go soon.

2) If you create the tables from noco interface you get those fields else not as these fields are abstracted fields on top of your DB fields. 3) not sure what you mean here - noco is known for abstracting these IDs away and are hidden as system fields (see field menu). The role of lookup etc is what you need.

Its remarkable how kids (4 yo) relate to some facts in these books (like discoveries, slogans, values) and then recall the page/book when they hear a word two in totally unrelated conversations.

Amidst the frequent noise - its hard to notice that even the most stringent of OSS licenses like AGPL was written way back in 2002! Cloud was not even in the picture. Since then, ever growing cloud players have been playing the 'state' role and misusing OSS as 'religion' heavily affecting infra OSS products or companies.

.. and how does it fare with devin/cognition etc - have not tried them just youtube videos.

Long ago, I was a system developer. Now I think of it - I feel the whole development / logs / debugging / deploying was all abysmally slow. To even load software via JTAG took about 5 minutes! So there is big room to improve things in this space.

Do you have clients using this now ? how are you thinking to land inside semiconductor-ish corporates ?

Follow up questions generated with the answer is easy picking. Much like Google (traditional search) does. To spice it up, there can be a slider using which - questions would change. The axis of slider itself can be an interesting one eg: simple to advanced. It will depend on the topic being discussed.

We just managed to handle all date time and timezone issues which is quite complicated and made a release like a month ago. When we started, we could not have anticipated the difficulties surrounding timezone issues. So we will be getting to Calendar view soon.

I see at the current state there is a massive difference between us and the initial launch of Plato.

We do support multiple databases and there are backlinks available with actual value in a spreadsheet cell (I see that isnt supported in Plato's links). By reading about virtual columns I felt its like a formula column but its not (between I don't see formula isn't supported yet in Plato). Only one of our user had the virtual column request before.

Mainly I see Plato does not YET support automatic Rest APIs for the databases, webhooks, grid view, gallery view, form view, webhooks, upload csv/json/excel, formulas, SQLite, SQL server, docker, executables, open-source and so many other features. Having said that Im sure these will be looked into in coming years.

Really happy to see simple and powerful tools in this space were lacking and we are all trying to fill the big void here.

We do ship binaries for all platform. Lot of our users run it on Raspberry PI. However there is no static library though.

Ah cool. We are defaulting to using sqlite for storing metadata too.

In noco we've the concept of primary-value (like primary key) and that shows up automatically when you join with other tables (defaults to 'title'). However the primary value column can be changed to any other column too (by hovering on the column name).

Other tools in the list do not give the smart-spreadsheet automatically when you connect to databases. And frankly, these are two different tools we are comparing.
