Neovim is extensibility and versatility. If you want a rich development environment, you can put in the work, or use one of the many preconfigured environments, and turn neovim into that.

If you want a bare ultra fast, terminal text editor, neovim is that out of the box.

If your only after LSP, tree sitter, embedded terminal, neovim's got your back.

Basically, neovim embodies the beauty of Linux. Use and pay only for what you want.

Glad to see this app in the front page of HN. Absolutely love the app. The biggest props for me are caldav sync. It allows me to self host and get away from the figure ecosystem.

I just setup a mail in as box instance and boom! Mail, Calendar, Contacts, Todo list, and storage all outside of Google in a heart beat. And this app is just the best for managing Todo items. Just love it!

I love it that they have a "this is how you can help link". I've read about so many issues that I would to get involved with, but there's I no mention anywhere oh you can actually do something about the problem!

Waymo’s CEO, John Krafcik, has admitted that a self-driving car that can drive in any condition, on any road, without ever needing a human to take control—usually called a “level five” autonomous vehicle—will basically never exist. At the Wall Street Journal’s D.Live conference, Krafcik said that “autonomy will always have constraints.” It will take decades for self-driving cars to become common on roads. Even then, they will not be able to drive at certain times of the year or in all weather conditions. In short, sensors on autonomous vehicles don’t work well in snow or rain—and that may never change.

This reminds me of the time Bill Gates allegedly said: "640K ought to be enough for anybody", taking about RAM memory.

Why would you say it will never happen? That is just silly. It may be decades out, today sensors may have a long way to go. But it's just silly to say it will NEVER happen.

Never say never!

How can I complain? Where to go? How can we organize? I want to do something about this!

This is complete and utter bullying. Bullying on user privacy, bullying on Firefox.

Somebody please tell me where to go?
