Our company was scammed (invoice scam) and talking to police it’s actually easy. They transfer it to another local bank account (normally stolen), then immediately transfer it overseas. At that point it’s more or less gone.

I love love caddy. I only use it for my homelab to get https everywhere, but it’s so much easier than traefik for me I honestly don’t know why everyone prefers it? What am I missing?

I never really use the app other than when building system which was hit or miss. But pleas make it work accross vlans without having to run seperate services to handle it!

I put an a360 Card into an old machine I turned into a plex server. It turned it into a transcoding powerhouse. I can do multiple indepdent streams now without it skipping a beat. Price-performance ratio was off the chart

Lithium supply is not an issue. Here in oz we have plenty, there is surplus in market (see current lithium prices).

Conversion however is an issue, majority of plants are in China. Build some refiners that turn it into lithium carbonate and oz will fill them.

I have tried but it’s really taxing. A lot of the videos are like daily podcasts or whatever and it’s a battle to get them to import correctly, with correct naming, etc.

I want to auto download videos from my favourite podcasts, but then have a super simple dashboard that shows the videos and lets me watch them.

But honestly, it’s like it was designed for the way I work. I dont have a trillion tabs open any more.

I run multiple projects at once plus personal stuff throughout the day. Really really poor project management. But now I just go about what I’m doing and can pickup where I left off.

Literal use case: I was writing a report for a client and had done a bunch of research on a topic, then got distracted as I remembered I needed to upgrade the homelab and wanted new unifi gear. Then got back on another project where I needed provide a summary of similar other projects we had worked on.

So after I finished the last task, I quickly pulled up the research where and where I was at, it even found items I didn’t notice initially. Then at a day later I was able to pull up all the spec sites, reddit posts and recommendations and shopping sites I found for the cheapest place to buy my new gear.

It was awesome.

And that’s one of many many times it saved me.

Privacy/security issues aside. It’s a really freaken useful tool that I’m already missing on other devices.

The biggest pushers of no domestic gas are the producers and finance guys. They make a lot more money on exports.

from what i can see the media/government minister have blown this out of proportion.

First off it looks like they identified 15M tonnes of lithium hosting rock (pegmatite) which has a grade of 0.4% of lithium in the form of spodumene (which then needs ot be processed to extract the lithium out of).

But in general, how it works is they drill a bunch of holes in the ground and analyse the cores. From that that interpolate the size/shape of the ore body and calculate an estimate of size.

The more holes they drill the greater the confidence.

There is a lot of 'art' to this science

Also terms such as "resource" and "reserve" have very specific meaning in mining (to do with economic viability of deposity/ level of confidence) and this is by no way a "reserve".

Most likely overzealous government minister/media hyper. (sorry to rain on parade!)

I got one of the brother mono laser printers. Man it just works. I set it up once many moons ago and it has never once not worked. I think I got half my office and most of my family onto it. It’s fast enough, duplex prints and yeah just legendary products

in my line of work i write a lot of reports. i have a great prompt now that i can use that i just paste in along with my rough and very crappy notes and it turns it into near perfect report.

crazy how much a new tech has become so indespensible so fast.
