Many parts of the world are very sparsely populated. The north American continent alone would easily double or triple its current population. We'd have to be smart about it, think carefully where we put new cities etc so that we hedge against climate change... it would be easily doable.

Africa too, is capable of supporting a much higher population IF we want to get really serious about doing so.

Military and intelligence don’t care about drugs. That is someone else’s problem. They would never reveal their capabilities over a mere drug bust.

It could be that. Or it could be the start of something brand new and very big/exciting. Afterall, the hype of the tech stocks did come to fruition...but 5-15 years later. I don't know.

People who grew up with good fathers, have no idea how fortunate they are. Even after they think they do. Having a bad father puts wounds in your psyche that most people can never heal.

Because for the companies that don't, it is a threat to their existence. Teslas has opened their patents for anyone who wants them, and not one other company is keeping pace with their level of innovation. The entire ICE industry is now already obsolete. You don't think this should compell existing players to innovate?

My take on this is: the only people who should become a founder are the people who can't bear the thought of not doing it. Anyone with less than "Give me libertly or give me death" levels of commitment should not even bother.

There is a really important difference between companies which don't have enough margin to post a profit and companies that invest every bit of resource into capturing a new market. They're not leaking money, that is the wrong metaphor. They're conducting an expensive land grab on 3 huge industries: Cars, Energy storage, and solar.
