This is silly and gets sillier from there.
Whites are favored on dating apps (e.g. https://papers.ssrn.com/sol3/papers.cfm?abstract_id=3244459) and the model proposed would make that division pretty explicit
Not clear on how showing that you're willing to argue a position that you don't have any background or evidence to support is a positive.
And for good reason
Reading the comments, might be because of the lack of literacy on this topic in this venue
Thanks! Much better this way, I think. What a story!
It's a feature of Boy Scouts and the patrol method, in which youth are encouraged to take on leadership positions for six-month periods.
these $400k+ earning SEs are a double-digit percent of the engineers I know with 6+ years of experience (N > 10)
Well they would have to be, wouldn't they?
While I can't speak to 'all parents', I can say that as a parent of five, kids develop significantly differently. We've been treating our oldest daughter as basically an adult since she was 13 or 14; the next-oldest is getting there, at 15. Next couple down the line we have to monitor more closely.
This is what got me re-tethered to a smartphone after a several-months-long experiment with returning to a flip phone - for backpacking it's so, so nice to have GPS in my hand.
I have had scenes from Glengarry Glen Ross played in sales meetings dozens of times.
Down on your luck? Open a coffee shop!
Was that the path of yeast resistance?
Did you measure, though, that the staff was happier or more productive? Did any meaningful change occur as a result of the requests to use Slack differently?
Looking at your graph, it's not really clear that anything has changed significantly: when did the change get implemented? Is a couple weeks' change in activity a result of a couple of loud employees going on leave? There's such variability there that it's hard to say that anything has really changed.
I agree that a formal analysis isn't always necessary, but you don't appear to done _any_ here and are then couching a suggestion to try something on Slack as having measured something. That's just bad science! :D
Were this the case, you would see a correlation between urban development and obesity rates; cursory examination of obesity rates and population density (and our basically unchanged urban planning methods since the 1960s) reflect that this is not the case.
Really wish I'd come to the comments first...
I live in a much, much smaller state-university city - but I bike between campuses and beat my coworkers in cars every time.
I recently downgraded to a flip phone and it has been wonderful. I missed Google Maps for transit during a trip to NYC, but otherwise it's been great - not being leashed to the internet by my own lack of self-control is wonderful.
I don't think EMTs are regularly administering fentanyl at the scene. I could be wrong about that.
You are, it's more and more being advised for EMS use over morphine.
