What is the number of frames per second (fps) someone should expect from this?

I'm using opensnitch[1] and it can block snap requests. Pretty nifty software, but it brings my machine to its knees unless I ``` sudo service opensnitchd restart ``` once in a while.

If I'm not mistaken, I hadn't many issues installing docker on WSL.

The problems started when I docker-compose up'd a pretty basic nginx-php-mariadb stack.

I don't have a clear image of how Docker behaves on Mac, but I had wasted a whole day trying to make it work on Windows WSL.

I'd suggest you virtualize a normal Linux host on your machine (under VMware for example) and run Docker there.

Snaps are great for auto updating software, especially the ones from JetBrains.

I think most users will be fine. Those of us who need more fine grained control, can have it.

The implementation get trickier. Better solutions to existing problems are usually more complicated.

Porting games seems pretty hard IMO. Why isn't there an intensive to port the latest Adobe CC software [1] too?

I know a few designers & video editors who use passthrough to run Adobe software on their beefy workstations, which I would also prefer as I'd rather not use multiarch on my linux system.

Burning out is definitely a taste from hell, if hell exists.

Exactly a decade ago I found myself talking to my mother in foreign languages on the phone, thinking I was talking to my clients. I even got used to lucid dreaming as it happened at least once per week.

Took me three weeks to get back any desire to (even think to) code again.

I doubt the downloader isn't restricted in some kind of jail.

Firefox had a certificate bug recently where all extensions, including adblockers, stopped working.

I'd imagine Google saw a slight increase of revenue during that period.

No wonder why they don't allow extensions on their Android browser. From everyone I know, only I am using Firefox on a Chrome device.

I personally dislike the complexity of having to use the server-side calculated dimensions.

His users were creating some pretty irritating memes out of this tragedy and he took action to moderate things until things calm down.

You also need to add support for https, I had to disable the HTTPS Everywhere addon.

It left a sour taste in my mouth that Microsoft joined Chrome instead of investing in FireFox and helping them advance their multi-process architecture quicker.
