Any form of life outside of earth would be in danger if humans were to find it, no matter how technologically superior.
Plot twist: Maybe the Ai is turning them all against each other.
CNBC Elon Open Ai: https://youtu.be/bWr-DA5Wjfw?feature=shared
This is exactly what Elon Musk had told CNBC that would happen to Open Ai once in control of Microsoft.
While this would be great to start space exploration, there is no military incentive for this, and they're always the only ones with a blank check. Not sure that tourism is the option, maybe mining.
Sam Altman is right. Ai will break capitalism. Trust is the foundation of human storytelling.
A significant % of the workforce can work from home or "office hubs", instead of moving ppl from A to B. Technologies like Vision Pro are a better solution.
Amazing work. If there's ever a government institution or consulting firm looking into the safety of these Ai products. I hope your input is requested. A for profit corporation wont get to self regulate as that is not their main objective. As for vulnerabilities and consequences in human behavior all they would do/can do is respond. In this context it seems to me you have vision which not everyone has.
Can you please elaborate on this?
Don't worry, chatGPT will do the same think in 1000 lines
Old thinking stock 100 years ago, old corporate/government structures can't get the internet. Their solutions always concern building physical things. They will never get it. A black swan event in the horizon will bring about a new structure that uses the physical world only for what is essential: health, water, food & shelter. Getting people from A to B and back is a solution from the 1900s industrial revolution that brought about cities.
what we need is a really good app for this magazine. As an early adapter I am passed the era of social media and really hoping/looking for an alternative. Infinite scrolling that is not stupid and/or negative.
Coca Cola is to plastic what oil is to Exxon, and what food is to Monsanto. The CEO of coca cola and his team of scientist in 1978 are responsible for this. Extremely intelligent but extremely unconscious.
That nothing supernatural steps in to prevent this, exposes clearly that the only one that can build a better world is "I" and only "I". No rewards, no afterlife prizes, no recognition, only a clear sense of responsibility for the whole, because if "I" don't do it then who? It is incomprehensible lack of consciousness that continues to this day to create this psychopathic madness in what could otherwise be a planet paradise.
No dopamine hit with twitter anymore.
All the ones that I've tried.
No one seems to be considering a black swan event in the AI future scenarios.
It would finally expose the whales and show clearly the correlation between news and stock moves. The whales own the news outlets, news which placed intentionally at the right time will incite fear for them to buy low or generate excitement to sell high. Looking at you Elon Dodgecoin
I see a crack, in the economic pyramid that has sustained socio-economic inequality for so many centuries.
I thought they had their own Siri version of ChatGPT to be released soon but looks like he didn't plan for this to happen this fast and under increasing interest rates.
Looks like language models will become the gurus of tomorrow. Some people will not trust them, but some will die for them. Their effects in politics and the world order will be scary. Cambridge Analytica.
Absolute bs. It's all about connections, the whole resume thing is bs. People in high positions are there because someone got them in. You need to be top 5% smart to make it there, and with SO MUCH effort and sacrifice to to achieve the same. Capitalism rewards entrepreneurship.
What is the opposite of a centralized AI language model?
People don't get that Free Speech is not about the content but the existence of the supreme court. The Supreme Court is the so called Free Speech. This is in comparison to the times of kings and emperors where just the mere act of questioning the king, even in thought (if refusing to immediately act according to instruction) would get you in trouble.
qwant is way better than google
Can't get the fascination with this desert? It's like post apocalyptic Earth.
Feels like life in this world for the past couple of years it's been been just about 3 powerful ignorants causing anything but havoc.
Can someone please ELI5 this article?
Therapeutic, please make it an app for the apple watch
