Xonotic [0] is an amazing game if you're into quake style arena shooters. It's a fast paced multiplayer shooter and like 0 A. D. also OSS.
Easiest to get up to speed in the "minstagib" or "instagib" mode, where basically one shot kills and "bullets" arrive at their target instantly. Once you're familiar with the mechanics, the other modes are quite fun, too.
I guess there is also https://breezy.hr/ which is quite commonly used in europe.
For example it used to be the case that whatever you downloaded from google or 3rd parties (google earth, picasa, oracle java etc.) automatically installed google chrome by default and set it as your default browser. This is on par with IE toolbar spamming in installers.
I agree that it can be a bit annoying for working with visual lines. You can move up and down visual lines by using ‚gj‘ and ‚gk‘ instead of ‚j‘ and ‚k‘.
I would highly recommend nextcloud over seafile. Seafile does not appear to take security seriously in any capacity as can be demonstrated by the maintainers here: https://github.com/haiwen/seafile/issues/350 , https://github.com/privacytoolsIO/privacytools.io/issues/490
Nextcloud is written in PHP an so many people believe it to be insecure per default, but the devs are highly capable and put an emphasis on security from my experience.
Not OP but I'm using sway when I'm on Linux, too. The only annoying thing is, that the mouse cursor is laggy when the system is under load. Apart from that I think it is pretty good! A systray would be nice of course but that is not a deal breaker. Thanks for the amazing work!
Tried many extensions for vim-like control of my browser, but pentadactyl is by far the most usable. Even without any customisation, just pressing 's' and instantly being able to search with auto completion ('b' for the same across all open tabs) is incredibly useful.
Hopefully it won't be discontinued soon..

Pentadactyl for Firefox also allows that (press 'b') and it's absolutely amazing. Way quicker than searching for the tab visually and manoeuvring the mouse to it on a notebook.
Well the 17.3" model comes at 3,4kg. But there is also a 14.0" inch model with very powerful specs and a 4k screen which weights less than 2kgs

I've read your reddit threat and this one now and I'd like to let you know my somewhat knee jerk opinion. You say that you need a differentiator but that you feel you have one. For one, i think that if information is indeed your only differtiator (nd's jars look good enough) then nootropics might be the wrong market. most people getting into nootropics do so because they have already read a lot and tend to be better informed, thus degrading that differentiator significantly. People who dont know much about nootropics will be hesitant to try them at such high prices and even if they do once, you won't necessarily get repeat businesses out of them.
the venture you are starting should be validated with a good study beforehand as you are essentially trying to sell information repeatedly to folks who know googleing well. As you can see with amazon, which is in a business similar to yours, customers care most about price and then about convenience and security (refunds etc). the information amazon provides about the products they sell is shit at best and the website does not look good either. furthermore, nootropics cannot be tried easily and then be refunded, as many need eg two weeks of consistent use to be able to feel a difference.
in my opinion, approach your businesses not as a startup but rather as a shop would. define the customers, their needs, do interviews and then decide if it is worth getting into
Well, the kindle runs essentially Linux so by jailbreaking it you gain the ability to launch arbitrary code! Eg alternate pdf readers, games, ssh, vim and a lot more which can be very useful (especially the off reader KOreader)!

I use a well specced out Dell E6440 at work (i7-4610, 16GB ram, 512GB SSD, 1080p IPS screen) and it does have a classic non chiclet keyboard. Besides the weight and size of it due to the integrated DVD drive it found it to be an amazing machine with a great keyboad.
Personally I still use a ThinkPad X220 and I would not consider the Dell's keyboard significantly worse (I prefer the key placement of the page up/down keys etc of the X220 though).
You might have misunderstood the sentence you are quoting. From my point of view, the quote and what you are saying are not different goals, just that your way of achieving that goal has to involve configuration and the quote's goal tries to do away with it. I completely agree with the quote, a program should do what the user wants it to do, without any config. However that is unfortunately not yet possible, as you are saying, but is certainly the desired end goal. If the program does what you want, >always<, then no configuration is needed because it could only defer from that goal. Therefore I believe the quote is a very good one, albeit somewhat philosophical.

I know for example that ownCloud has great problems to efficiently display images and something like what you created looks a lot better than what they have so far. Keep it up :)!
one thing which would really be great is an OSM client for Kindle/ebook readers with an offline data store. With an optimised interface and map styling it could come in handy in many cases (hiking, bike tours - anything where weight, power and portability are a concern).
Obviously an editor like spatialdev are developing would need more advanced features thus they are targeting android.
While what you said is probably true for obvious reasons, also remember that those cartoons probably offended around 1.5bn people. Seeing that three people decided to react violently after several years of the paper being put out weekly, it is fairly safe to say that this could be described as a clash of the extreme extremists (of whom there are very few).

I am not defending anybody here, just wanted to describe a slightly different point of view. Obviously it is CH's own choice to put out and condone whatever they want and that choice should be granted.
Personally, i prefer "zathura". besides filling out forms it can do everything, with a very sleek ui and outstanding keybindings (vim-esque). I encourage you to try it :)

In many EU countries, such as Germany for example, it is illegal to wear helmets or even any gear which might hide your identity like ski masks, large hats etc.
