If you set temperature to zero the output will be always the same, not a distribution. If instead you increase temperature the LLM will sometimes choose other tokens than the one with the highest score, but it won’t be that much different

Goblin is a service that builds a go binary for your platform on the fly and downloads it in PATH. This is a much faster way than setting up Github Actions to build an executable for every possible platform on every release. You can also use go install if you know what you are doing.

Probably because all tooling comes from open source developers that are simply not happy with the status quo and are trying to improve things doing what they can, see Webpack, Babel, Vite, pnpm

What we really need is an end to end echo-system with funding, adoption and vision. Deno and Bun are both getting in this direction

i think adding interfaces that are simply enforced at compile time would be a good start

You could create a new type like Dynamic(InterfaceName) that handles dynamic dispatch somehow

Interfaces are the most important thing Zig needs to implement ASAP

It would also help creating a uniform standard library, for example creating a Writer interface instead of having specific functions for files, sockets, buffers and all kind of types

Radioactive material is not something you can only find in nuclear plants (you can get same levels of radioactive materials in hospitals for example), there are also much easier ways to cause worse disasters (think about destroying a dam for example)

i don’t see the problem supporting something with both words and facts

if you think that nuclear is an awesome energy source why shouldn’t you work for increasing its adoption?

GoDaddy Rant 4 years ago

I lately got a lot of YouTube ads for GoDaddy and it’s hilarious that their main proposition is to “Make your business look more professional with custom domain emails and website”

professional!? Your name is GoDaddy and you want to look professional?
