Yes, I agree if ruqqq brands it as just-another-funny-app then perhaps there won't be any copyright violations, since 9GAG steals content from other sites, stealing content from them won't amount to any copyright violation. In my opinion unless 9GAG specifically says that the user-supplied content belongs to them, then it doesn't, but the terms here say something on those lines: http://9gag.com/tos

so true. especially the part about not having experience in trying to know about the audience. I think it is really important what the audience wants. At times, you may find it tempting not to do certain things coz nobody is watching but i believe people eventually will.
I think the market is pretty confused right now. As compared to 2007 when Apple first launched its iPhone and then again when it launched the iPad.
I guess we don't really know the resolution we as human beings prefer. With Linus Torvalds asking for a new Desktop Resolution as a standard I think we would need to wait and watch for the disruption to kick in.
